Between the aggressive players, the biased referees, lazy coaches, hateful announcers and player’s terrible attitudes, it’s no surprise that the league operates in a constant net negative.
The abuse and hostility shown to one rookie puts yet another stain on the already lackluster league. Abhorrent and shameful.

Actually, the comparison ISN'T versus men (NBA). Is against a HIGHER LEVEL of basketball game. DIFFERENT!! And like it or not, this WILL HAPPEN regardless of gender, nationality or race. WNBA players can complain and get insulted by this, but from the standpoint of WNBA's commercialisation, we really couldn't care less.

You girls HAVE to make adjustments to bring an attractive product for sport fans if you really want to survive and thrive as a viable option in the sports arena.

So far, the low viewership and assistance to the league it's sufficient evidence to expose that you're failing MISERABLY. The NBA have been banking this bankrupt enterprise but it won't be sustainable for much more time.

Lowering the ring and whatever other game changes needed to be done considering the fact that these are women, are steps necessary to elevate the quality and marketability of the WNBA. There's no way to escape from this unless you want the league to die.
