STARFIELD SYNC Issues Between XBOX & PC, Other Devices- How To FIX It

I have managed to switch back and forth a few times (like literally 2 because it can take 12 hours so do it when you otherwise wouldn't want to play)

My game won't launch the next constellation mission "all that money can buy"
So if i open it on pc i can use console commands (which disables achievements for anyone who doesn’t know that yet) and manually start the next mission.

First i deleted most of my other saved starfield games on the xbox.

Then i saved the game in a fresh slot and left the game on pause for about 5 hours.

Meanwhile i had my pc shut down/off.

Came back to the xbox, quit starfield to the main menu and then went to xbox home and quit starfield, then shut down the xbox.

Then i loaded up my pc and ran starfield. I clicked "try again" a bunch of times and used task manager to quit all the starfield processes a few times and then at some point it sat on the starfield loading pic with loading... in the corner for a few hours. Then i quit and restarted starfield and chose "load most recent save" and it actually loaded my most recent save!

It is not an exact science but it will probably eventually work if you keep at it.

I didn’t have to reinstall starfield at least.

Thank you for the video. Nothing but issues synching between PC (desk), Xbox (couch), and laptop (travels). I will try deleting old save files, and I will also try disabling the auto-save feature.

This happened to me, and took my entire game from me on Xbox, I don't play on anything else but xbox

It seems i lost my online save after uninstalling and reinstalling the game on xbox Series X. It doesn't sync from cloud. Other games work as intended.. can you help me?

had the same problem dude, pretty awful stuff ... ill give solution 2 a try - im using xbox, PC at home... when im on the road I use ... GForce Now(PC) It's been wild ride ... pretty annoying but ill give #2 a try

great i have level 35 on xbox and when i run the game on pc i get only new game option because when i played on xbox it deleted saves on pc for no reason and now wont synch anymore and deleating over 120gb just to synch saves on pc is not a option

Dude your solution to solving issues syncing from xbox to pc is to UNINSTALL the entire game? That is insane to think people are reasonably going to uninstall/reinstall 120 gigs every time they go from couch gaming to the PC. Burning your SSD.

Hi I was having problems with my PC not syncing with a steam deck. No errors were showing. Deleting the old save files on my pc fixed the issue. I guess it just can't cope with the amount of saves. Thanks very much for finding this. Worked a treat. You should perhaps mention steam deck in your title too. Think it will help alot of people 👍
