Did the tree and the ants "evolve" as a symbiotic pair from the start, and if so, why? What did they each evolve from? If they didn't evolve together, then how did they both survive at all until they both decided to "band together" for survival? Give that some thought and give the idea of evolution some thought too.

A recent study by an italian biologist (you can read that on "plant revolution", written by the same) explained how acacias trap ants. They say in the video acacias give everything ants need, but didn't mention that what they drink is in fact a drug that make them addicted.
The author of the book studied the movement patterns of ants that did and didn't drink that liquid and showed a correlation between different behaviours.

I think, nature is awesome
