iPhone XS Max in 2022 Review - Still Solid!

Sorry guys about the delay with this video, I had an issue with my old MacBook Pro exporting a file of an unfinished project. However, we are now back in business! Anyone here, or are thinking of buying an iPhone Xs Max?

You are one of my new review favorites. You really explain, how for the average person thus iphone is more the sufficient. We are not all amateur cinematic directors, nor photographers, and personally even with the newer phones most end up using editing software. I am returning to the apple ecosystem adter leaving them in 2008 when they discontinued support for my favorite tower. Now that apple has implemented longevity in thier iOS uogrades, i am returning. I dont like buying a new phone every year and my needs like 98 percent of the populace is pretty basic. So thank you.

Gonna switch from 11 to xs cuz of the heavyness and the big screen is hard to handle on typing and daily use ! Used to iPhone 8 I couldn’t handle it that much with the 11 ,Anyone has same issue with 11

iook, most users arent' going to notice the so called much better cameras of the latest models. Most cell phones have reached their peak in having very pleasing and satifactory cameras and are not worth the hundreds of dollars difference in price. It is just one very marginal increase that most users won't evern notice, only the tech reviewers, who need to have the latest and greatest to keep their jobs, it is a lot of hpye coming from a market economy, and more modern cell phones camera ' leaving the older ones in the dust" is just hyperbole. I have a google pixel 3xl and previously had a very hyped Samsung galaxy 21 ultra and could not tell the difference in smmothenss without the 120 htz refresth. Most users will not be able to tell the difference. Just a lot of hpey to keep you spending thousands of dollars you could be saving for those emergencies are a nice carribean vacation. My google pixel 3xl cost be a toatl of 140 dollars and came with all of the accesoris, 3,5 and USB adapter, Ear phones, fast charger. I saved hundreds of dollarr by returning the galaxy S21, "Dont; beliver the hype". The companies try to force you buty a new one by stop support the older ones with the latest software update. However, just continuere to buty the lowest priced one, and not a new one. and force the companies to lower their prices, but then they will cry fourl and lay off their empleoyees, because they demand a cretian amontt fo profit, even though they are multi millinaries, Just a crazy and insane system period

For someone that isn't big on yt you make insanely good videos good examples and all but also play some hard core games like free fire ,pubg and call of duty

I have an iPhone 12. I could easily upgrade to a 13 or a 14. But I actually just ordered an iPhone XS Max 256gb gold. And oddly it feels like I have a newer version of the iPhones lol. THe design has always been my favourite. And it’s a nice size. The plus on the newer phones are a little too big. And another big thing is the iphone leather case has not changed. iPhone XS is the last version of their highest quality cases. The leather isn’t the same now. So I decided let’s go 2 more years with my favourite device + a nice saddle brown leather case from apple

I dont know where you get your prices. Iphone xs maxs go for under $300 in the states.

Great video, well done. I just changed over from Android and got the sx max, it is great, but for one issue. When I click on a contact, it phones them straight away. When I clicked on a contact with the android phone, it opened up another page to ask to confirm if you want to phone that contact, so I would click the phone icon and it would call that contact, but sometimes I want to click on a contact to explore and not phone them. Is this possible with the sx max please

As the owner of various android phones and a problem with tinkering. My daily driver is a XS MAX black 512gb which I bought a year ago for £250 2nd hand, and yes newer IPhones have better battery and cameras... but the i just don think it is worth upgrade The IPhone XS max is solid and never glitches compared to android. The only thing that will make me upgrade is 5G as i get it on my NOTE 20 ULTRA 5G in my house and its super fast and as I am on a unlim data plan and its faster than my cable

Sold off my 13 pro max for SGD1400 and went back to this. Got the battery replaced yesterday so i can use it longer. This phone has all my basic needs. I dont see the point of owning a 13 pro max if im not using it to its full potential :)

700$ geez steep price. Try 250$ new. The only real drawback I see if u use T-Mobile is the lack of 5G because with T-Mobile u almost get that everywhere now. But if u use Verizon or ATT and their rather laughable 5G coverage u won't really miss not having 5G. As T-Mobile user thought u going to miss that and if that is a big priority getting those 150 or faster download speeds. Then I would say stay away from the iPhone XS Max. Again this mostly only applys to T-Mobile users.

I just upgraded to the xs max and can't wait to start using it, my 6s is showing it's age big time.

I finally switched from the 7 Plus a couple of weeks ago, and I must say the XS Max is such a gorgeous phone. I never really cared for it just from seeing it in pictures, but on-hand this thing is simply beautiful. it looks and feels very premium. love the screen as well. I love how thin the bezels are. the only thing I really miss from the 7 Plus is the touch id. I still prefer its convenience over the face id. but other than that I'm really enjoying the phone.

Xs Max is my first iPhone. Had it for 3 years now. I was close to trading it in for an upgrade, but I just couldn't let go of my first iPhone ever to own. Plan on replacing the battery and use it as my daily another 2-3 years.

I have had the XS Max since it came out in 2018….I just can’t get rid of it I’m too attached 😂 my fiancé has had the XR since 2019 and we both are still having great experiences with them!

I recently gave away my 11 to a family member whom I'd given an SE earlier. I only use my iPhone for texting and talking and occasionally updating my work schedule, so I am actually thinking of buying a used XS Max. I don't game or watch videos on my iPhone as I have an iPad, a Macbook Pro and a Win 11 laptop for that.

Coming from an iPhone SE (2nd gen) to the iPhone XS for £200 with 256GB storage and 85% battery health. Only downside with it is that it has a scratch on the screen on the right side, but I hardly notice it. Everything works and overall I'm really impressed with it! So glad I did too as the bigger screen is so much better to use day to day than that of the iPhone SE.

I’m so bummed… been rocking the Xs max since it came out and if not for the fact that I just dropped it on its face and completely shattered the shit out of the screen, I would’ve had no plans to upgrade anytime soon. While I would of course like to have some of the newer features (mainly a bigger battery, better screen, faster processor), i’m not willing to go any smaller in terms of screen size, but I’m also not a fan of the squared form factor of the 12 & 13 (and presumably 14) era iterations compared to the rounded edges of the xs, not just aesthetically speaking but i also find it feels/fits so much better in the hand — if you have a rounded vs squared device and they both have the same dimensions, the rounded one imo always seems, looks & feels smaller. And when the squared one actually is thicker/wider/longer, the sharp angles of the form factor don’t do a very good job of concealing the extra bulk…

So anyway, my preferences basically leave me with just one option for an upgrade - the 11 pro max, which also just happens to be the oldest possible upgrade, meaning the improvements are minimal at best imo: same screen res, better processor and camera but only by a little, slightly bigger/heavier (which is a downgrade imo), and the 11 isn’t 5g capable so that’s a def downside since a lot of providers are switching over to that being their primary focus. It’s also more expensive than the newest, top of the line iPhone 13 pro max (bc of promotional deals), which makes this decision even harder… tbh i would rather just get the xs max again but it’s sold out thru my phone carrier so I’d have to buy it outright w/o any upgrade discounts and the idea of shelling out ~$500 (or apparently $700!!!! according to this video…!) just to get my old phone — my nearly 4 year old phone — again is a tough pill to swallow…..

The lesson? Be extra careful with your devices, kids - esp if you’re not interested in upgrading and a replacement would cost more than it’s worth…🤦‍♀️

I just got it as my samsung s20 blew up. First time being on an apple iphone will see how this goes. Had amazon credits and got a steal deal on 64gb one. I have icloud from my mac so I think atorage wont be much of an issue

10s Max color is very elegant when it comes in gold color and feels comfortable when held even though it is a bit slippery if not using the cover..I keep it as a second phone. Because following it I chose my 12 Pro Max now also in gold
