I did the 9000 btu model on my boxtruck overlander conversion. It runs about 1050 watts on high, and I don't know the bottom end, but I have seen 230 watts. I put it in my upper bunk area and can cool just that on minimum power and with 560 ah of lithium I can run for about 23-29 hours on inverter power. I also have 2300 watts of solar, so really it can run indefinitely until there is a mechanical disaster or too many clouds. The overlander is filled with chargers too, so finding a 15 amp outlet is all I really need to live full time.

Hello, I’d like very much you video, how well is running your air condition, any problems, how big area is able to cool off .

What is the max electrical draw when the compressor starts up for this model ? (or any similar mini splits for other readers)

I would prefer a mini split over a window unit, but I’ve only got a 1000 watt inverter to work with so I’ll have to have one of those easy start attachments regardless.

Nice video guys, but on what planet is 77 "a little too chilly" lmao, that's super duper warm and I'm from Phoenix. My wallet wishes I could tolerate room temps like that.

So where the drain line goes back up over the copper lines you are going to have pooling water in the first three feet pipe just a heads up

Bro....you don’t just vacuum a system for 15 min. I’m surprised to see how well you did on the install but didn’t even get a micron gauge. Let me tell you I’m 100% sure your reefer has already or is in the process of turning acidic. There is no way you got under 500 microns no matter how clean and short the pipe runs are.

Oh and looking at harbor freight analog gauges to look for a leak is incredibly egregious. Again I’m surprised you knew to use snot on your flares but got the most important thing about the install so completely wrong. Let’s not even mention you didn’t do a triple evac.

Not trying to bust your balls but I give your compressor 2 years of life before the acid eats through all internal components.

Just installed mine this week and loving it as well. I have the same but the 230V. It was advertised to work with Google Home and Alexa but I haven't had any luck with that
