Blacks are based as always.
ОтветитьI am right now feeling like penny 😮😮😮
ОтветитьPrior to Affirmative Action education.
ОтветитьWonderful Movie. Why have these women not been lauded as Treasures?
Ответить. best scene EVER .
cause, the way she
(or anybody) SEE.
IT ...
Taraji P Henson is, in my view one of the finest actresses to ever grace our screen and in this wonderful film, shows her outstanding talent portraying Katherine Johnson who is such an exceptional woman, who fought the prejudice and injustices of the 20th century.
ОтветитьYo tengo un Hermano de piel de color y es mi Hermano y yo lo quiero mucho, y a quien se atreva a querer hacerlo de menos o hacerle desprecios, lo pagara con su vida
ОтветитьAnd then there's me who needs a calculator just to do simple addition. The only thing I could contribute to this group of people is bringing them coffee and doughnuts.
ОтветитьSHELDON??
ОтветитьI'm obsessed with the soundtrack
ОтветитьSistah girl had to figure it out AND type it up for them!
ОтветитьHope everyone doing good and staying safe. If you need to talk to someone or need help, there are people who care. Sending support and hearts. ❤❤❤
ОтветитьHuge respect for math heads who responded. I think I kinda halfway sorta understood what you said. Lol.
Ответитьtyped up 😂 great sheldon
ОтветитьDammit sheldon, give her a break, and no credit to you this time.
ОтветитьMy math peaks at a square plus b square
ОтветитьEuler...........Euler............Euler Sorry, I just had to.
ОтветитьFantastic movie within great cast and story.
ОтветитьWhite boy or not, one of them should have waited a baby with this woman
ОтветитьThey have sheldon there and they didnt use him for the math🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьWhen Shelton is not the smartest person in the room😂😂😂
ОтветитьThey just left out the 50,000 times they had to apply Euler's method to plot to complex orbit.
ОтветитьDid she really have walk 1/2 mile to the west building to pick up that book?
Ответить"Math is always dependable."
"For YOU it is."
😂😂
I love a good fictional movie.
ОтветитьDummy
ОтветитьLove the stunned reaction by Jim Parsons. You can tell from his expression he's realised that Katherine is a level above him.
ОтветитьOne thing I loved about this movie was how they took super sensitive topics and treated them gently and with a touch of humor. A timeless movie with lessons for the ages. I also have to apologize to Taraji P Henson. She will only ever be Katherine Johnson to me. I LOVED THIS MOVIE !! Brilliant portrayal Miss Henson !!
ОтветитьLeBron should show every kid that goes to his school this movie because zero people passed math class. Even 3 years after it started, the initial people that entered the first year, even after 3 years at that school they still couldn't get 1 of them to pass their math exam. This woman that the movie represented would have wept if she saw how bad kids are at math now, but how much emphasis they put on playing sports, kids would never aspire to be her.
Ответитьsnort "... ancient ..." Of couse they are using old math. Most of what most of us know about math is from before 1800. Arithmetic, geometry, algebra, trigonometry. Heck, even calculus was invented in the 1600s. Compared to a lot of that Euler is fairly recent.
Ответитьcalling any math ancient is just wrong. it always was and always will be the same. math never changes
ОтветитьThis movie was great for Jim Parsons. He starts out very Sheldon Cooper, better than everyone else, stickler for the rules… and we get to watch Sheldon go away and a hidden gem of a character emerge.
Ответитьwow the smart balck woman is smarter than heterosexual white men, so powerful
ОтветитьThis is such a great movie. So many great actors and actresses. Love it.
Ответитьits the first method you learn for solving differential equations numerically (in a numerical computing course in undergrad)
ОтветитьAku sudah mengajarkan ilmuku pada tim red flag dengan cara tersembunyi,, maka kami sudah bergerak bbrp tahun utk project paralel kami di seluruh dunia..
ОтветитьWho knows about this movie?
Good honor 🎖 to women's
This whole scene is bullshit. These women were math janitors looking out for typos in the calculations of greater minds. They weren’t at the forefront of the actual work. It’s so silly. The black woman is just standing there showing all the white men how to do their jobs. 😂 they would have been like, miss, get back to your cubicle but not before making us a fresh pot of coffee. Thanks doll. 😂
ОтветитьThis is such a Hollywood scene
ОтветитьNo “thank you”, no “excellent work”. Just “type it up”.
ОтветитьImagine if women were given the same opportunities and treated with the same respect as men throughout history how far would our society as a whole be. We see movies and books of female geniuses, activists, writers, scientists, artists, etc. that had to fight limb by limb to get any type of reconnection if any and they still have their name in history, imagine now if every race, color and gender had equal chances, we would be such an advance race as human beings. Pity there's still issues in that front.
ОтветитьThe Euler method is named after Leonhard Euler, who first proposed it in his book Institutionum calculi integralis (published 1768–1870). Jesus, it really was ancient!!
ОтветитьWe've come a long way re racism, men sometimes are intimidated by intelligent women. One may appreciate the genius of Leonard Euler by reading Professor William Dunham's work.
ОтветитьI've been watching a lot of The Big Bang Theory clips and I was waiting for "Sheldon" to jump up and solve it but he doesn't lol
ОтветитьI remember learning and using Euler's Method and Newton's Method in my math elective programming class where we were only allowed to create programs for finding values of complex functions using simple operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, exponents. These Method didn't provide the "exact" solution, but the numerical approximation was close enough for all intents and purposes, and given any error range, I could easily calculate how many iterations of the algorithm were necessary to be within the desired error. Like Pythagoras' Theorem, it may be old but it works.
ОтветитьSo was Archimedes
ОтветитьI don't know much about math (at all) but these comments have definitely out some respect on Euhlers name.
ОтветитьThis "historical" movie is almost entirely fiction in all of its main details. It is to fit an agenda.
ОтветитьI learned more about the CONCEPTS behind math by reading these comments than I did in my entire academic career (which includes an MFA)...
