I have had savage trucks for years. Love them. Recently bought a 😅the xl 5.9 in and on 2nd run lost the midrange valve😢. I have spent hours trying to find one, and even spent hours .searching area I was running it. U have any suggestions where I can get one.

It`s a good job you know about RC`s. I would be so pissed off if just spent my hard ernt money on this. It would be straight back to shop for refund. Looking forward to seeing how you fix it. Hopefully HPI might take note of what you do.

They should warranty the parts it's the first test run and parts strip so easily

I am sorry mate but yours is a terrible way to start a brand new nitro engine. Next time, please warm the engine using a heat gun and unscrew the glow plug just a bit so that the burn room can suck in a tiny bit of air from the top. Prime engine and fire up. After the engine has fired up, tighten the glow plug.

Overpriced and cheap parts. I'm so glad you not only bash many of these, but also you show normal condition issues we would all face on day one. I will never buy HPI.

I've owned one nitro monster truck years ago and I spent all the time just trying to make it run right. I was so frustrated with it I gave it away. Brushless electric all the way.

@kevintalbottv bottom out the transmission set screw, then go 4 turns out. That should have it shifting sir 👍

Throw nitro out the window! Get a gas car, losi 5iveT or hpi baja. Rarely breaks and is a LOT cheaper to drive, but not to buy ...

To be fair. A normal person playing with there rc car isn’t gonna be jumping straight up then landing to concrete.thats gonna likely brake something every time. But that did seem to brake n fall apart right out the box
