8400主要是吃了频率的亏，要是频率和7700k一样可以说整体而言是吊锤7700k

i5 8400 for my gtx 1060 or i7 7600 ( which i found at home) ?

i5 is really good for just gaming, i7 is good for running multiple things, and streaming as well.

Both are same not different but i5 is good and best for all

i7 seems to have a lot less cpu usage, which would also result in better multitasking. Plus the i7 would be better for content creation and streaming. If all you do is game though, the i5 will do.

It looks great on both. I would rather buy the i5 8400 because of price. It will be a big upgrade from my old laptop that ran Fortnite not HD graphics everything low 3 fps 😂.

No brother I5 8th Gen is better than 17 7th gen bcz I5 and I7 matters very least.The main thing which matters is generation of that cpu

1060 is the bottleneck here. You should atleast use a 1070ti or 1080 with the i7. And i5 is good enough for 1070 as well

So i got vega 56 saphire nitro plus and i5 8400 apex on ultra 1080 130 fps average amazing combo all i5 newer generations are pure gold dont waste money on i7 i9 its all marketing when it comes to games all i5 newer generation rocks invest in gpu more instead

Nice but remember I3 and I5 are different design than I7. If all you do is play these games then fine but if you do other things like video editing you will want the I7.

Look at GPU Usage!!!! unfair comparison.... It only produces a few more fps because then the GPU taps out.... Notice 7700k has less usage, therefore can handle a bigger GPU without bottlenecking! that's why he is trying to run some games on low. If he ran on high, both would look the same, because the 1060 would be doing an equally shitty job of getting choked out in both instances. The fallout 4 test is actually valid and you see the 7700k getting more than 10% increase in fps

So in my free time I wanted to make a pretty cheap build for all of you who want to spent less then 800 euro/dollar.
The intel Core i5-8400 bc it’s more then 100 euro/dollar cheaper then the i7-7700k (for only 3-8 frames/s more)
The corsair vengeance 8gb ddr4-2666MHz witch is in between the 2400MHz and the 3200MHZ and quite good for a gaming pc
2GB NVIDIA Geforce GT 130 witch is able to play GTA 5 on high with medium fps.
Now if you all put that in an okay pc desktop ext, I even had 100 euro/dollars left and could buy an okay screen with it or maybe a better graphics card if needed. hope y’all get good pc’s?
