The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error- USB/External HDD

I followed the regedit process as you told , and now 2 of my drives went missing! What is the solution to this???

I followed method 5 (cause i was desperate about my USB) and what i was afraid of happened, it deleted everything on my computer but at the same time i looked at the partition C and it was filled with gaga bytes. I had my computer divided into 2 partitions( C,D,E) The D and E is gone now can anyone help me please 🥺

Worked !! I by mistake formated it in while its state being bootable. First option worked like charm ! Thanks
