Thank you! I was told by some ignorant mechanics that my C-RV model and year did not have a cabin air filter when I asked them to change it. They were dead wrong.
ОтветитьMerci pour la video!
ОтветитьThanks for your help. I just changed my filter in my 1998 Honda CRV.
ОтветитьGreat tutorial. Only issue I found when actually doing this is there are two more 8mm bolts on the left side holding that dumb bracket in place. You cannot simply remove the 10mm bolt and "pivot" the bracket with the remaining two 8mm bolts. They both must be removed, and the entire bracket will fall to the floor. I was also putting in an aftermarket stereo at the time so I found it easier to just do it when the entire instrument garnish was removed giving easy access to the two 8mm bolts, but did Honda not think anyone would ever replace these? My wife bought this car used as a beater, and I swear that was the original filter! On the bright side though, the ac still works even through a 20 year old crudded up filter. But it will be so much better now with a clean filter. Plus there was 20 years of disgusting debris, leaves etc in the housing area under where the filter sits. I really don't get the design thought by Honda on this. A cabin air filter replacement should be an easy one minute job right behind the glove box, not something where you need to remove trim, brackets and bolts.
ОтветитьThe best video for 1st gen of CRV owner - Thank You!!!
ОтветитьVideo omits the two 8mm hex bolts on the lower left that must be removed, real pain.
ОтветитьWhat is the benefit of a cabin air filter. I'm guessing it filters the cabins air. Great video Thank you
Ответить99 CRV: There is one 10mm and 2 8mm bolts on each side. All must be removed. The bar is held in place with a tab on the left hand side and does not pivot down. If you have tiny hands and a long 8mm wrench you'll be able to get the left ones out without removing the center console trim, which is a PITA.
ОтветитьThank You
ОтветитьEXCELLENT VID THANKYOU !!!!
ОтветитьEasiest tetorial ever... Wish you could do an alternator and timing belt
ОтветитьWoww this video really helped me, I just changed mine and I was horrified at how dirty and clogged my cabin filter was, thanks for the help!
ОтветитьHow often should the cabin filter be replaced and why?
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьThis video should be the number 1 video for this...best one
ОтветитьThere are 2 bolts on the left lower bar that you must remove.
ОтветитьThank you. That was really helpful.
ОтветитьI attempted this, but when I loosened the last 10m screw it still didn't drop the bar low enough to access the filter
ОтветитьMuy practico, y bien desarrollado.
ОтветитьYou forgot about the wiring.
