RDR 1 is the greatest cowboy game in existence.

RDR2 is a cowboy simulator.

i mean, with how rockstar outsources their ports like the definitive edition of the III trilogy, im absolutely not paying for this game. i will have it on my hard drive though. and if denuvo is an issue for some reason, xenia has our backs. fuck take two, fuck rockstar. i promise everyone here that they want your money, and then theyll leave this game un-updated for years to come. on top of that, im sure any community efforts to fix the port will be shut down by take two as well. sickening.

Even after a year since this game release in PS4 and switch, Rockstar doesn't even bother to use RDR2 engine to remake RDR1 for PC, I just hope after GTA VI, Rockstar will consider to combined RDR1 and RDR2 storyline with RDR2 graphics

One good thing about rdr taking forever to come to pc is it led me to discover call of juarez gunslinger as i wanted a cowboy power fantasy shooter for the longest time and gunslinger scratches that itch very well. Curious how the gunplay of rdr will stack up to gunslinger

As much as I love modding (I mod most of my games now), I spent hundreds of hours on the original online back in highschool, so the fact that it's not returning because rockstar knows it can't milk it is gonna be a pass for me. I already emulated the game, what I want is the original online experience again.

Is it gonna look like ass compared to RDR2? If so, then its gonna be a hard sell.
They already have the voice acting, the mocap and an engine that looks amazing even today,
why didnt they just go the extra mile and make it a legit remake.

Should have just brought the missions from RDR1 into RDR2. That would have been well worth the $50 price tag they're asking for.

RDR1 is like a Clint Eastwood Spaghetti Western movie while RDR2 is like an Classic American Western movie. Color Palette, Music and tone are different.
