ОтветитьStill no Wrath and Glory or Imperium Maledictum :(
ОтветитьWhen i ran Black Crusade in the past i had players run both cultists and Chaos Astartes. The cultists wound infiltrate a society with objectives to weaken it and prepare it for invasion. Then they would switch to CSM to play the actual invasion and battle.
ОтветитьI'm sorry chaos spawn have the urge to scream and do so. From their many many many mouths.
ОтветитьI was able to get Dark Crusade, Dark Heresy, and Only War from Cuiblce 7 for those that are looking into getting these for the systems
ОтветитьDark Heresy also gave us the Magistratum Mundanus, greatest beat cops in the segmentum
ОтветитьYeah, having a party comprised adding either Rogue Trader or Deathwatch characters amid Dark Heresy ones is not too good; someone's going to end up doing nothing but holding the Space Marine's luggage, if allowed to.
I got to play in a group of six people, and two of us got to be Black Templars aiding an Inquisitor's team, and I was one of the Marines, an Assault Marine, to be exact. We did mostly nothing for most of the adventure, after five or six sessions. The rest of the group comprised of a Psyker, a Sister of Battle, a Priest, and a Arbites (a space cop). When they finally unraveled this mystery in his Hive City, and found a Chaos Daemon down there, with his minions, we went to work.
First, we told the Daemon to shut up, while we had a little discussion. After which, we had to play rock, paper, and scissors for which of us would be the one to shove its head up its own ass, and which of us would record it. I lost, so I killed its minions, got out the camera, getting a good look at its face while the Tactical Marine shoved its own head (attached, of course) up its own ass. It was great.
The Sister was very impressed, and was making googly eyes at us. We ended the session before we would have to put her down for violating her oaths.
I was never into 40k (badly disguised sci-fi version of Fantasy with no stakes), but I am a Big Hat enthusiast! :D And I managed to get a hold of a physical copy of WFRP 1st edition for free and bought some supplements and adventures. We're still getting used to the simpler world (I chose the 4th edition Warhammer Fantasy Battle for inspiration instead of the 3rd), but we're hooked. My group is exploring the Reikwald for Unberogen barrows now. I plan to Constant Drachenfels, the Great Enchanter as the campaign antagonist, who this time has a plan. Castle Drachenfels is on my shelf. My players are making a name for themselves in its vicinity, but they need to gather more EPs first. The Trollslayer will definitely want to give a good seeing to Drachenfels.
ОтветитьThis was such a memorable and fantastic period of my rpg playing life. Wonderful to run, fantastic to play. Never should have given away All my books 😢
Ответитьlove dark heresy its so fun, and fluffy. I'm in a Dark Heresy, Only War, Rogue Trader, and Black Crusade campaign. Its been one of the best things in my life. I even played the Warhammer Fantasy game where I made a rat catcher with a mean dog who stumbled into vampire hunting.
ОтветитьI will say take Ascensions psychic power rules in Dark Heresy. Once you hit pay ratings two you no longer randomly explode unless you push
ОтветитьCalling Hashut a "Lesser" Chaos God? That's some Heresy eight there, brother. Into the pot of molten bronze with you.
ОтветитьWarlock! rpg does a reasonable job of giving an OSR version of Warhammer Fantasy RP. The Wetwired and Warpstar versions of the same ruleset combined, to my mind, do a good job of covering Warhammer 40k with a tweak or two
ОтветитьGlory of the Emperor upon you, Brother. Suffer not the Heretic to live
