If you rush to take "Subjugate the Warlords" focus, you basically solve most of China's economy, namely resources and some industry and military (if you can puppet them, you can use their divisions as garrison)

If you take mengukuo’s divisions at the start of the game, by requesting forces because they are your puppet, you remove I think 8 cav divisions that would otherwise be attacking you and you take basically all of their guns.

most of all, never go united front, always go for warlord puppeting/conquering before japan attacks. you get XP from it, you get units from puppets and you can integrate them later, and you wont have to deal with bullshit PRC during war with japan or sinkjang joining soviets. and no fucking support equipment. all you need is arty and AA and later CAS/fighters

as china you should always rush to subjugate the warlords, you get a free cb or puppet from all the chinese warlord states. it also helps speed along the army XP requirement to rid yourself of the awful army debuff.
