LG C2 OLED Review: A Perfect Gaming & Productivity Monitor?

Do you think 42" is too big as a monitor?

Isn't it possible to restrict the screen size to a smaller portion when gaming? I'm sure I saw someone doing this

I hatet my c2 65'' it was shit imo. My g3 is next lvl at 85'' abd i love it ❤❤

this video caters only to console gamers..while the word "pc" is thrown about a couple of times, please note that since this is not a gaming montor and a tv, there is no display port..performance on pc games would be much lesser than what you would get with a display port

I thought the sharpness was better. If I I stand right at the monitor it seems like a Full HD. Maybe it’s me. Or they gave me a fake one.

just want to say thanks SpawnPoiint as due to this review i bought an LG C2 in the black friday sales with an added sweetener of a soundbar, i got the 48" tho, arrived this morning and i'm blown away at OLED, thanks again mate

1. 104,76 ppi is not great.
2. 4k is not ideal for macOS scaling.

I don't understand the Aspect Ratio Support, The tv size and resolution make it a certain aspect ratio, what does changing that setting do? I'm confused. Does the tv change resolution or stretch out and in with the transformer sound? (korkakekee) :P Really tho, wha?

I am really disappointed at the inability to have 2 inputs using the PiP feature. That is a huge selling point and I really think they are missing some sales by not including that feature.

Been using a 40" Samsung LED for about 5 years now as my main monitor, looking at this LG OLED now but still worried about burn in, I'm a programmer during the day, gamer at night so I'm going to have static images for a long time during the day.

Really great review. Could you do other TVs as monitors. This one is great but its quite expensive

Why does it look so small? It looks 32 inch. I want one of these but worried it will be too small though I sit less than a meter and a half from my current TV, which is 32 inch.

I picked this up last week and there is now a reliable solution to get 4k120 4:4:4 10bit from an M1 mac. There's an anker usb-c to hdmi 2.1 that will allow you to do this with a modifiied firmware loaded onto the adapter that can be found on a macrumors thread.

I got one of these about a month ago (48 Inch) and I cant even put into words how good it looks for gaming. I don't even have a PS5 yet I'm still on PS4 but even so, RDR2 looks absolutely outstanding on this TV - like mind bogglingly good.

It's stupid to work with such a big TV at this distance, your eyes and neck will get tired all the time, it's just uncomfortable. I have a 27" monitor at about the same distance and even that is not comfortable.

Would definitely get a full motion mount for monitor use

DAY 2 with a New 42" CORSAIR i-7400 Intel 13,900K 4090 GPU, and my NEW LG C2 42". I was excited to see the C2 in action, and this looks AWESOME if you watch a 4 K video on you tube that has vivid colors. Prior to using this as a monitor, I used as a TV for 1 month and had my x-box connected and it was nice. NOW that it's a Monitor, this is my MAIN GRIPE ( YES I turned off ALL the auto dimming that you can with Serv Remote) I got mine from Costco, so maybe they do something so people don't return them after 2 years. I did all the main calibration videos you probably did too, and running Windows HDR, which makes screen brighter in general.

Any White screen looks so dim and dull. Like RIGHT NOW, typing this comment in YT, the background of the YT screen is white, but it is not crisp, it's dark and looks almost GREY and it really annoys me, and I MAY have to return it? I am going to give it some time first. Gaming it's sweet, but it is NOT SUPER Bright for regular PC use.
I do use my PC for non-gaming too. I hooked up My 10-year-old LG 1080P monitor side by side to compare and the LG looked like it was in power save mode and if you didn't what you were looking at you'd say that looks like S#$%^&. Again, JUST for larger WHITE areas. Same with Google searches (with white background). I changed to black and the white looks fine. If I COULD get a 4K Monitor that looked this good, BUT ALSO LOOKED good and had a nice white BR, I would spend more $$ to buy it, but I have no idea what would be BETTER than this? I could get used to this, but right now as I type it is so DIM compared to my old monitor that I shouldn't have to MAKE MYSELF Try to like it. That is my real opinion so far.

I dont understand people who use their MacBook closed in clamshell mode. It could cause serious overheating issues, reduce the lifespan of hardware components, not to mention you could be using the Macbook's screen as an additional monitor!

Anyone else think this tv is too dim. The brightness is not doing it for me. I already disabled all emery saving stuff and turned up the brightness and contrast to 100.

I noticed when I'm battling one one close combat ,they jam my gun and they start hacking making my gun fire on its own to give out my location. I do report them but nothing is being done.
