How to Do Kiuyoyou Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom - Fire and Ice

Whenever I stick the platform to the ice it unsticks so I can't beat this puzzle

I was getting so annoyed my ice kept melting before i realized the ruby i had on my shield was putting out heat and melting the block so the flat piece wouldnt stick to it

I can’t get the stone to stick to the ice long enough to shove it down the spikes.

Terribly designed.
The orange button is hidden under 9 orange spouts of fire.

Hell just pan thr camera over the button so we even know it exists.

It's not a puzzle if you never tell the person the objective.

I didn’t even see the plate LMAO! I managed to beat the shrine by stacking big ice cubes in a way they will eventually fall over the objective and give me 2 seconds to enter through the gate hahahaha I feel like a fool. I love how many “solutions” this puzzles have

i wanted to be creative so i grabbed the platform, held it up to the flamethrowers for about 9 seconds, used recall and placed down the ice block on the pressure plate lol

I didn’t even diagnose that there was a pressure plate under the fire. Hard so solve when you miss half the problem.

I am loving these shrines...

I don't have the goddamn glider lmao (I found thos Shrine on my day 3 playthrough, and I don't even have the glider with me yet) of course I'll never solve this without the glider lmao

unpopular opinion but i just dont like the shrines and i dont find them fun i find them annoying

My boyfriend did know that there was a pressure plate but he didn't know that there was a fucking stoneplate next to the ice cube and he sat there for an half hour he even questioned me for help till I looked up a video and i was like are you serious 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

You could actually take the first cube from the switch and use it as leverage to get to the treasure instead of back tracking and doing twice the work. The gate WILL NOT CLOSE IF YOU DO THIS.
