CHEAP 10.1" Touch Screen Android Car Stereo

How can I add more " INTERNAL STORATGE " ???

Late to the game here. Just installed one today and it looks good. How is this unit for those that have this so far? Any, comments to share?

I just installed an A-sure K42-W7-101, the functions are fine for what I want but the icons down the left hand side let this unit down. The power on / off button is unresponsive until it's tapped about 10-15 times, same goes with the volume icons. I paid just under £100 so don't know if the problem is that it's cheap and unreliable, or if it has a problem with responding, calibrating the screen didn't work so going to do the factory reset to try and resolve it.

is it worth updating the chip to newer?

is there a reason outside of updating unit to use wifi? can just use your phone and connect right? that way its using your phone data over its own wifi

can you connect this to a bluetooth reciever for sound?? i hate line output lines, i tried to use my phone as a headunit, but dont know how to get it not to shut down the screen when connected to the car bluetooth and charger... feels like there should be some kind of setting for that, but i cant find it... sooo, maybe get a china player like this instead, even tho it feels unnessesary

I just installed a 9 inch version of the same unit in my 2016 mustang. I had the base sync 2 unit before and it looked like something out of a 90s Mercedes. Mine doesn't have any slowdown issues and works great with Vivid Car Launcher (the best launcher for Android units.) Was glad to see ETA made a video on emulation on it. Naturally, this was my first thought after getting everything set up. Also came with Android 13 on it which was a pleasant surprise

You can get his same unit but with 8 core and 4GB ram for around $150-200. Very fast with android 10 or 11

I've got one of these in a car I've just got and I hate it with a white hot passion, I'm thinking more open auto or just a good normal head unit because this is E-waste to me right now, saying this I've always had £1000 head units and much better speakers

Anyone know how to get the Wi-Fi to work? Mine won’t connect or pick up any networks or anything and I can’t find much videos or information on it any help would be great

Really depends on which android headunit you get. There are higher spec models that I bet would perform just fine

How about carplay? On their amase website, my exact head unit is marketed as having car play but i cant seem to find any car play app. Im connected to bluetooth and use the usb connections as well and nothing. Wouldve thought it would do it automatically.. any tips? Im on ios 16 iphone 12 pro. The android version on the head unit is kernel version 4.19.111+. It also says android version 10. Im not familiar with android please help

I have had these types of head units for a few years now. I had issues with the bluetooth but always changed the stock rom. Sellers were very nice always and provided the stock rom for them. Very good and was more please with theese, compared to the stock 2023 ford focus big diplay units. Never buy under 4 gb of ram. The GB was brutally slow, but the 4 gb worked briliant. Now waiting for delivery for another one for my wife's car.

you missed to review the quick release latch mechanism or is a fixed unit to the bracket

Let me just tell you all right now that it's pure GARBAGE. I installed it in my truck, sitting in the garage where my WIFI has a STRONG signal, it didn't reach this POS. So I hotspot my phone, right next to it, it shows one wifi bar. I downloaded the app I need to connect to the Quadzilla Adrenaline on my truck, which connects via Bluetooth, doesn't work. So I connect my phone via Bluetooth and start playing music. Move three feet away, it loses connection. Garbage. Not only that, the signal wire to power the amplifier doesn't work. Garbage. It's pure garbage, do not waste your money on this fking garbage.

Hey guys just got the 9inch rimoody display works great. However once nighttime came and I turn on the lights the screen goes black. I just left a message to the seller I really don’t want to send it back. Anybody have issues with this and fixed them???

I speak from experience when I say these radios are junk. If you are looking for a pretty radio then you have found it. As far as a good radio I highly recommend that you continue shopping.

you could use touch screen and one of you mini pcs to make old fashion setup:D

I don’t know if I would ever buy that type a double den radio because they said it’s very slow and you have to run off your Wi-Fi or your cell phone for a hotspot I don’t know

How many voltds are you getting from the output? $volts is ideal, yet most decent aftermarket brands get around 2.5 or so.The stock crap models get about 1.x something. Lots of info, but you miss the MOST basic, and most important. The output volts that your amplifier, or the built in will need to amplify.
