Having not shopped in China but lived in SEA for 8years its interesting to see the difference from this video. China they unashamedly always seem to start at stupid high numbers and enjoy rhe bargain more. SEA they get real mad when you get them down low... first they start to beg.... "please sir.. little bit higher.. please.."(i really hate that as i have had rhem even pretend to cry) and then eventually rhey sell and get genuinely mad at you or they basically want you to gtfo of their shop.
A quality TShirt can get from China to Australian supermarkets and still sell for $5usd or less.
They only need one western tourist to come in a month who actually pays the crazy high price they firsr ask... or even 1/3 of it and rhey make bank.
