I wouldnt buy one. My friend has already replaced a motor an now a transmission
ОтветитьLooks > speed
ОтветитьIt's fun to drive a fast car fast. Don't let anyone fool you. The slow car fast will keep you wanting more.
ОтветитьI got extremely lucky buying a 2016 frs/86 with 49k miles for $10k; this was right before the prices skyrocketed. I couldn’t be happier.
ОтветитьGod I want an 86 so bad
ОтветитьI’m a subi mega fan, the brz is my dream car
ОтветитьTo all the dudes who call the BRZ slow
Thank you for giving every JDM kid, including me, a good point to use for when we wanna get our first car
I loved this
ОтветитьEIGHT SIX NOT EIGHTYSIX the name was inspired by the A E 8 6 SPRINTER/COROLLA platform loved by tuners in the late 80’s early 90’s
ОтветитьIt really is everything you need in a small, FR layout sports car.
Low center of gravity, lightweight, almost perfect weight distribution, manual gearbox.
I would very much like to have (or at least drive) one someday.
Best thing about the twins is the connection to the road. Makes you feel a certain way about wanting to go out and drive and take the long route home.
Also being pretty reliable despite what the internet shows with the FA20.
These are the next 240sx’s. Lightweight, rwd, and slow, but people love to drift them. Just wait until they become unobtainable like the 240 is now.
ОтветитьI wished they came with an inline 4 instead.
ОтветитьC4s have better weight distribution, and are cheaper.
Ответитьi love them im getting one rn 30k miles on it a black 2016 brz sporttech...ready to mod :D
Ответитьmy frs was the first car I purchased on my own after working my ass off and getting out of the beater given to me when I was 16. A proud accomplishment and a step up in my life, and a project that ive been able to develop as ive developed as a person. I love where the car has taken me
ОтветитьThe only cool ones ive seen have that trash motor swapped with something else like an LS
Ответитьi'm trying to decide between this and a 370z, which ones more reliable and what's better (and why?) if anyone can help, please feel free to respond :)
ОтветитьRaced a seriously modded frs/86 about a year ago against my bone stock 2.0t genesis and i was about 2 car lengths ahead in less than 1/4 mile...i guess my " please wait...boost loading" sticker really did add more horsepower 😂
ОтветитьMy issue with the BRZ was that my friend was flexing that his dad has one.
Lol, what kind of flex was that? Its roughly the price range of a Camry.
cheap, cool and versatile
what else do you need
Can someone in simple terms explain to what a boxer engine is?
ОтветитьAre these frs reliable I see a lot of the motors blow ? I’m looking at one tomorrow
ОтветитьIf I can't get a 350z/370z, I'll definitely take one of these instead. I saw a red 2015 in the lot for 13k and drooled over it. It satisfies my desires style wise with sleek lines and curves, with a readily affordable price tag. And since I know more than a few tinkerers, I could even get it modified? Sign me up
ОтветитьOnly idiots criticize subaru.. I mean, what 2litre engine doesn't break if you over boost it and drive it like a muscle drag.. hello, those are made for winding road..
ОтветитьHated my White 2016 Scion FRS stock when I first got it! Add in Injen Intake, Tomei UEL Header, Nameless Overpipe/Frontpipe, Borla Catback Exhaust, OFT 2.0 tuned to run Stage 2+ E85, Tint, and finally some amazing Gloss Black with Chrome Lip Motegi 18" wheels and I love it! Altogether, counting other small mods, I've spent around $5k. It's as fast as possible BASICALLY for be N/A so someday I do hope to Turbo the car and get it professionally tuned
Stock it was beyond slow! But add in a full exhaust without one cat and an e85 uel tune and you'll get a go kart from hell! Being rear wheel drive I realized I should have gotten the bigger and wider tires first before adding ~40hp-50hp
It’s bc of Scion Scion made it very customizable so there were a lot of parts for the SCIONS Subaru just got lucky and got to share all that but if anything the car was solely made for Scion
Ответитьjust bought a 2013 FR-S with 6 speed and am so excited! I don't know how to drive manual yet but I'm hyped to learn
ОтветитьBro İTS engine block can carry turbo?
ОтветитьAnd becouse i love BRZ(gt86
ОтветитьIts one blood with Ae86. Back then it was for newbie drifting. Yep that fact
ОтветитьThey've become the new 350/370z...
Ответитьmodern 240sx
Ответить"It's more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow." Truer words have not being spoken.
Ответитьit's crazy there's none of these cars available near me used. it's like carvana or nothing
ОтветитьThis generations S chassis , these cars are going to drop to 6k in about 4 to 5 years for high mileage options than in 8-10 years start at about 12-15k
ОтветитьVolkswagen Golf GTI for example, slow cars can be more fun and tuning can practically carry a car in to star hood.
ОтветитьIt sucks when ur car looks fast but goes slow
ОтветитьAaaand then it lost drag races to a Prius
Ответить"It's more fun to drive a slow car fast, than a fast car slow"
Those are words I live by, I have 2 honda Civics, one is a 5th gen EX coupe, and the other is an 8th gen Si coupe. They are old, but I got all the suspension work done to them, the solid motor mounts, strut tower braces, and low profile/ grippy tires
It's so slowww!!!
ОтветитьI wanted to put a Ferrari 360 V8 in the front because I think the 360 and FRS are exactly, equally sexy... then whats his face did the 458 before I could get around to it, its still on my bucket list to build
ОтветитьI love my 86. I always enjoy speeding on mountain passes with my friend who also owns a 86 at 2 in the morning. If i had the funds, i'd love to put the GR86 engine into my GT86
ОтветитьIdk, I like to drive a fast car fast 😅
Ответитьsports car 😂😂😂
ОтветитьWhat I hate about this car is the fact it isn't sold in my country
ОтветитьI like how it was supposed to loop but the GT4586 clip screws it up
ОтветитьHes missing the gt86
Ответить
