As a mage and ranger u can effortlessly dish out stupid high damage without even seeing an enemy lol. If a melee character wants to do that much damage he literally has to buff himself, and use highly specific accessories. lmao

Tank players and True melee players should have the same defense ideally. Also 15000 dps against Supreme Calamitas is actually kinda weak. And also Summoners get a lot of defense late game in calamity.

But still, remember that the tank has 99999 defense, but for melee, it's 9999.

There are two sides to true melee :
-Killing the boss before he can kill you by facetanking +adrenaline
-Not getting hit at all while attacking the enemy whenever there is a chance

It’s possible as there are times you can hit her,

But it could take and hour or few

My first Destroyer kill was true melee
(Titanium Trident/Adamantite Glaive)

I still use melee, it’s easier for me to kill the Destroyer with melee than to get any other weapon

(Titanium armor might be even more powerful, though you don’t live as long, but if you can do enough damage, it doesn’t matter)

As a melee, defense is never enough.
