I moved accross the country in 2020, and I still LOVE watching these kinds of videos. It is fascinating. But if I ever had to move accross country again, I would not pick a place mentioned in a billion you tube videos and a billion website lists as "best". Areas that are exploited like this become crowded and under pressure with population surges. It creates major challenges for the area when everyone starts moving in at a crazy high rate. Then people start to leave as well. 😂 I also see "lists" where they exploit horrible places to live, because they want people to come there and add some growth lol😂 Take all information as a starting point..do tons of reaearch and asking.

I live in New Jersey and their projected average monthly expenses noted is $2,031 is a head scratcher to say the least. I pay $2500 a month for rent a lone. Maybe I misread that. I moved back to NJ from FL due to family. It is a great place to live, and the schools are exceptional, but FL offered better quality of life. I do not regret the move, I love NJ, it's a beautiful State, a lot to do and the food is great, but the cost of living can be overwhelming. Can't retire here.

I’ve had the pleasure of living in multiple states and have settled in Minnesota and love it. Yes winters are hard but the rest of the year is beautiful. I’m blessed to be able to get away to somewhere warm for a week in February or March and always come home feeling like winter is almost over.

Who did Desantis pay to get on this list if the state with a 20k teacher shortage, book banning out the butt, teachers being arrested for teaching and kids being taught that salary wasn't that bad makes Florida #1 in education in the nation then this country is fucked for sure😮

Don't believe this crap. Not only is Washington's cost of living completely ass, but he just complained about Vermonts cost of living when WA was literally above it on the list. Just contradicted yourself.
I also stayed in Virgin for work for a month and a half and witnessed violent crime LITERALLY every weekend I was there.
