Here's a research on new production technique on huge amount of H2 using seawater ! International Journal of Technology Enhancements and Emerging Engineering Research, VOL 1, ISSUE 1 Novel Techniques of Generating Huge Amount of Hydrogen Gas Using Microwave and Radiowave Energy. Worth the read.

How about more C40 Cities and 15 Minute Cities meaning no cars are needed.

As far as I'm concerned the plug in electric is done baring a big break through in batteries. Lithium batteries are expensive and heavy, not to mention access to lithium and the rising cost. The batteries like to catch fire and if in your garage so does your house. Car companies should be working on producing hydrogen cars.

I knew they could do it but the delay is the way big companies will be able to make big profits since hydrogen is the most common element on Earth.

Water vapor in large amounts will change atmospheric chemistries. This doesn't rule out hydrogen, but future consequences need to be factored in ahead of time.

THE GLOBALISTS ARE PUSHING THE CLIMATE CHANGE SHITE! All for Profit and Political Power! THE GLOBALIST POLITICIANS & CORPORATE CON ARTISTS CONTINUE TO DO THIS,
In spite of knowing the FACTS I post below! THE VOSTOK ICE CORE RECORDS CLEARLY SHOW THAT BOTH CO2 & METHANE LEVELS FOLLOW/LAG BEHIND IN REACTION TO THE CYCLIC RISE & DECAY OF TEMPERATURE DURING EACH MILLENNIA! THOSE TEMPERATURE CHANGES ARE CAUSED BY (You Guessed it) THE SOLAR SYSTEM! CO2 &METHANE "DO NOT" LEAD OR CAUSE THE TEMPERATURE FLUCTUATIONS!

The safest and easiest way to store and distribute hydrogen is to attach it to a chain of carbon atoms. If the chain is of the appropriate length, the material becomes a liquid that you can easily carry around in a can.

I agree with Ford CEO about the use of Hydrogen for powering cars. If we do not take action about climate change problems, natural disasters would happen more frequently. I was worried about what happens when we run out of fossil fuel when I was at pre-school age (about 5 years old) that no adults could answer the question. Now I am an old man & nobody could answer that question either. Why not offering a reward for the scientists who could come up with a solution about how to make Hydrogen production affordable, accessible & safe to use? I am quite sure that somebody would come up with a viable idea. Elon Musk is very successful in Electric Car production, but eventually Hydrogen powered cars can be more competitive. Therefore electric cars might become ablolute. If I was the President of the US or EU, I would ask the people to come up with some suggestions or ideas about how to achieve the goal of decarbonising the industry. That could bring automakers, energy corporations, scientsts, engineers and government departments together to come up with a proposal. Without the leadership of governments worldwide, it may not be achieved. Because not all the countries have raw materials, qualified personel & infrastucture.

If the safety aspect of hydrogen storage in a car has been solved, an affordable way of producing hydrogen can be found. Purchase & running costs will be 500 percent cheaper than any electric format. My mates 8 year old Tesla ( with 50,000 km's) needs it's batteries replaced at $19.000.00 ...... and he has to wait 5 months for the batteries!!!
That's a scary price to pay to be able to go from A to B on a daily basis.

Not being funny but Ford have set a goal to become 100% electric by 2030. They're obviously going to hype electric and put out messaging to mistrust hydrogen. Hydrogen cars are becoming a more attractive option to electric vehicles as they can produce higher torque and EV batteries are degradable and people don't trust them long term.

Stop it with the clown cars already. There is nowhere near enough lithium and other rare earth materials to build an electric care to replace what is currently on the road now, so EV clown cars are out. With regard to hydrogen, yeah it sure sounds great, but you are basically driving a large bomb. Even the most ardent global warming hoaxer is not willing to risk their life for such a cause. You people need to stick to your core business of making real cars and trucks. If you don’t, then you will be replaced by someone else who does….

Fuel cells that use hydrogen to generate electricity are twice as efficient as a ICE that burns hydrogen. Since liguid hydrogen is stored at -435 F and there's zero hydrogen infrastructure outside of rocket launch sites, this is an issue.

The alternative vehicle for moving humanity is no vehicle and traveling virtually only. Settlements should be designed for walking, bikes, and small electric vehicles. We should only be moving resources, food, tools, and other needed cargo. There is no need for people to travel as much as they do now that we have the internet. Travel beyond local should be expensive and rare.

Actually the MAIN concerns about EVs is that
1st. Child Slave Labor
2nd. Batteries when disposed pollute the environment more compared to gas cars
3th. there's not nearly enough raw materials for batteries to swap all cars to EVs
4th. The Biggest one Battery Fires
5th. EVs are USELESS in Cold weather
6th. Batteries have to be changed every 3 to Max 5 years
7th. Battery Capacity drops with every single day
8th. EVs are 2 times and more heavier then normal cars which damages the routes much more so more expensive route maintenance the same causes more damages in crashes meaning more fatalities
9th. When looked realistically EVs are 10 times worse then Gas cars for all these reasons
But as long as ppl Don't see the Child Slave Labor and the pollution cause by batteries and EV motors that Companies DO NOT recycle you can call them Green All Day

Companies are willing to say ANYTHING to maintain sales and profits so I take little credence in ANY statements by ANY CEO's! 🤢🤮

Blah, Blah, Blah! You want to talk about costs? We are back to Gas Stations with new tanks to store the Nitrogen. We have to build new Generation plants to make Hydrogen. Then Tanks to store Hydrogen. Then you have to make new trucks with tanks to transport the Hydrogen to the gas tanks. And to those that are crying about Titanium for batteries that is going to be gone in the next few years. Sodium batteries are coming on line. Once the battery technology gets a bit more refined you’ll have cars that run the same amount miles as my CRV does which is around 450 miles per tank. You can currently get an 80% charge in 30 minutes.

As a kid I remember my Father calculating how we could go on the gas we had and figuring where the next gas station was! The anti electric crowd are just being lazy. They can charge at their own home! They can charge their car for about 15% of the cost of gas. No math problem here. You want to pay $40 or $6 per tank/charge?

I can’t wait until everyone figures out the best new path but in the meantime I’m sticking with diesel. Got 50 and 60 year old equipment still running strong (engine wise). I feel like the seals necessary will fail too often for off road and farming needs. And the abuse around the farm and simply over long periods of time, I just don’t see them being reliable.

EV really seems to be lacking in the battery department so they seem WAY behind too. I’d love to see some advancements so I’m glad people are buying them and working out the issues.

Everything is so expensive I’d rather do a small repair every year than drop $90k and do a large repair every year and pay thousands in taxes and insurance just to own something that looks pretty for a decade. Where I’m at almost everyone needs 4x4, towing 15k lbs for around 300 mi per tank and very few are willing to spend more than about $60k for anything new.

The charging argument is short sided. We park our cars overnight and while we work. We live on an existing electric grid. The already existing infrastructure just needs expansion. Hydrogen’s future is best suited for planes, ships and long haul trucking where the weight of batteries makes it a better choice.
