It's not just about how hard you hit, but how smoothly you can dodge. Episodes that focus on defense like these leave a lasting impact. Thanks a lot for the awesome content Gabriel.
Ответитьdoesn't look as cool but having somebody walk towards u blocking is a terrifying experience
Ответитьmore of this
ОтветитьLove the defensive skills 👍👍
ОтветитьAs always Gabriel your content is impeccable. I just wanted to know how do you personally defend punches from taller fighters that sneak through to the top of the forehead?
ОтветитьThank you Gabriel
ОтветитьThis was an outstanding video
ОтветитьAs a second chapter athlete. Mean that I started my training and Muay Thai at age 57 I'll be 67 next month I find your information in the valuable. I'm not at the school where I started kickboxing of Long Beach. I'm in Oceanside California trying to find a good school. I love you tutorials, simply great videos. More please! ОтветитьPlease more of such videos Gabriel
ОтветитьGood tutorial
ОтветитьCan you make a video talking about range?
ОтветитьTHIS IS GOLD, please make a full tutorial!
ОтветитьThis was really great. I did some sparring this weekend and it was quite apparent I was raising my elbows too high to block the head shots. Took quite a few shots in the ribs. These tutorials are soo helpful, great to have some drills to do at home. Keep them coming please!
ОтветитьKinda an esoteric topic, but can you make a video on how to make reads effectively? I like this defensive content, but how do I know that a jab cross hook is coming?
ОтветитьPlease do more Videos like this , this is really helpfull 🙏
ОтветитьAnother great video, keep them coming
ОтветитьI've always admired your tight defense, great vid man
ОтветитьGabriel Varga, I am also VERY interested in your doing a full tutorial on this/your style of defense. I use this myself like I mentioned, and you're one of the ones I emulated when forming my style all those years ago, esp for your defense.
I wanna see you do many more videos on this form of defense. I have found it HIGHLY effective in my own sparring; Keep it up please! Those of us who train, and who use your videos as a reference for our training and technique drilling, will be very pleased, just like I am with this current video I'll greatly enjoy any and all future ones about this same subject! keep it up man!
Cool new haircut
ОтветитьPlease keep going along these lines, this is perfect to drill basics for a tighter shell. Maybe do posts and footwork on the full version to incorporate this boxing defense into kickboxing
ОтветитьDefinitely adding this to my workout
Ответитьi'd like more of this stuff !
Ответитьactually my number one sensei , thank you for all
ОтветитьGreat video thank you for putting some of your wisdom out for free, your a gem!
ОтветитьKeep them coming 🔥💪🏽
ОтветитьCan confirm on the improvements
At times I can hear coach Gabriel’s voice in my head while working
To be honest this video came exactly at the perfect time. I just had someone comment on working on my guard so this video was really useful :). I always have felt that my guard was a bit awkward so a more in depth video on the topic would be much appreciated
ОтветитьThis was awesome Thank you
ОтветитьI’ve improved tremendously from your videos! Thank you for your wisdom❤️
ОтветитьI really like these tutorials on how to defend various strikes effectively!
ОтветитьLoved this tutorial, would also really like to see one where you go into kick defense, sometimes I don't see a roundhouse coming until it's too late so I would like your tips on how to look for those
ОтветитьGo for the complete tutorial!! Thanks a lot, Gabe👌
ОтветитьThanks! I had my first sparring today and got totally smashed on the body from an experience boxer. I will start work on those exercises :-)
ОтветитьSir i just want to say it is an honor i’m so grateful for the content you post you have been the only guy i’ve watch i haven’t even made it into a gym A guy who never tried kickboxing now falling in love with it i do every day now 💪🏾 i have a solid routine i built myself all thanks to you… Thank you so much
ОтветитьIt helped me to get the idea of blocking the punches , to get ready for sparing
You are doing an excellent work
Love your content Gabriel. Have been doing Muay Thai for about a year and have used many of your tips in sparring. Would love a video on improve on anticipating and seeing shots coming at you from opponents.
ОтветитьLove this one Gabriel , my daughter and I are both preparing for kickboxing matches and I do lots of your drills with her :-)
ОтветитьThis guy hates Nepali's 🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵
ОтветитьMore defense! Great content.
ОтветитьMake sense you sayed we need to not let our back fully straight so is that the only reason? Because sometimes our coaches tell us to make our shoulders in curved way.. I am not sure if I described it accurately but why they tell us to do that?
ОтветитьOk what about dealing with MMA small gloves how to have a good defence and to protect the face?
Ответитьgood stuff
ОтветитьSure we want more ! I know you probably wont get as many views on those videos but they are really super usefull and helpful
