Extremely valuable! I'm glad I watched all the way through because I was working with tracking a single point of footage from a GoPro inside the cockpit of a fighter jet and watching the instrument panel stretch and bend lol

Actually you CAN use video files like mov-files with ProRes/DNxHR compression. :)

Great video, I'm looking forward to part 2.
There is one small thought, using an image seq is fine for short videos. My wife records videos which are many minutes, may be 30 or 40. Which at 30fps is a lot of images ( 54000 + ).
Is this still practical or is there something else I should think about.

Camera tracker for blender is powerful but the minimum tracks to solve should be 6 not 8 like the powerful tracking software 3DEqualizer . Also a method called nudging to micro adjust key frame

Do you also explore the topic of how to incorporate tracking a 2D shape (i.e. a rectangle, square, etc...) into Blender? I am struggling to find guidance about it.
