2018 Lexus did not work. When you push the button odo does not come on the press the break to start the ignition comes on.

Try up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, A, B, select, start...

2017 toyota corolla I can't get it to work 😢

This only works on older Toyota/Lexus. (like 2008 and older) Manufacturers make it impossible to turn off now because of strict new vehicle safety standards. The only way to do it on any new Toyota is to take the seat buckle apart and remove the spring that pushes sensor button out into the way of seat belt latch. With the spring removed the button/trigger always stays in and thinks your seat belt latch is inserted. The seatbelt still works as normal, just no annoying dings to drive you crazy if you're somewhere where a seatbelt isn't necessary. The new cars get really MAD if you don't buckle up....

Didn't work on 2010 RX350.

I'm a valet and although Toyotas and Lexuses are amazing cars, the seatbelt alarms are so annoying and some are louder than others. This will be very helpful if I were to ever get one for myself in the future. It's a good thing the new Lexus models have cute seatbelt alarms but they're way too expensive. Anyway, thank you!

As near as I can tell, this only works in models where the ODO is a separate LCD display (as shown).

The models with an LCD screen showing multiple screens of data do not work. I tried this procedure multiple times on my 23 Camry and it does not work.

There is an OBD reader that can do this, I'm on the search for that as we speak.

I"ve seen many videos that give this same process. I've also had many toyotas (tundras, sequoias, etc) and it has never worked on any of them. what gives with this repeating a process that does not work?

Any ideas how to do this on toyotas with the led displays? no more buttons on the dash, it's all on the steering wheel and this method does not work :(
