I've been singing for over 60 years, and STILL going strong. Have sung several Requiems. Grew up in a musical family. Took vocal training in high school. Through the years, I've gotten lazy. This past 2 years between moving and dealing with the covid shut down, tho I remained healthy, I didn't sing at all. Not good for me, since singing is part of my very soul. Point is, for someone like me, the video I just saw about simple breathing exercises it's quite helpful. Yet open for suggestions on basically how to clear out the cobwebs and re-learn the proper breathing and singing techniques without getting horse & running outta breath too quick.

Is it better to breathe from your mouth or from your nose when singing?

I have no idea which one helps me the most yet because I somehow only thought I should look at breathing exercises now, after like a week or two of knowing I'd be in a singoff in a friend group today XD
