Sony looks realistic, the panasonic looks post enhanced for sure. I'd rather have a steady raw image than an over saturated shaky mess.

For me:  Sony has best steady shot  and you used a infrared filter on it!!! Steady shot on panasonic sucks ! But the Panasonic fz1000 has better image quality, with more sharpness and details. Sony with infrared turned off , sucks wiht greater color saturation

You can turn on the pop effect with the Sony and get the same color as you have with the Panasonic

Thoughs are nice camera,   great quality it's like  almost around $1,000 saw it on amazon.   I got Panasonic 80 x zoom for $300 I gotta becareful bringing at the beach sometimes get sand on the lens

1 up for the fz1000 just a little shaky at the end. Like you said the sony looks washed out. Over all good review
