I see many comments like : Propaganda and fake movie. Well I'm not going to have conversation with all of them , but I just wanna if you'll not start saying real facts based on history , than your country will never be taken seriously. I wonder why theres no in Turkey intelligent person who would show the facts to citizens and repair this country by throwing every politic which publishing propaganda to the jail. well done. THE PROMISE stayed true to historical accounts. Scenery is beautiful, and actors are on point. The story is heartbreaking and this movie captured its essence throughout.

I am a Turk and I watched this movie without any prejudice.What happened was sad but Turkish men are portrayed as overly sexual Turkish women don't even exist Armenians being too modern and educated It doesn't seem real
