What I've learned in my attempt at a Kairos campaign or a Repanse game is that you really only need a few core provinces. Buffing the rest up to help bolster your income is great, but as you spread out, having a few key provinces scattered around will help you be able to raise powerful armies where you need them, and then buffer provinces where it doesn't matter so much if the enemy starts taking them because you haven't put much money into them as is.
ОтветитьMaybe that will be the entire gimmick of Marienburg (aka Fantasy Venice, Games Workshop super creative as always). Dogs of War can be a DLC, Marienburg will be included, your objective is to survive through trade and vassals (just how Venice plays in Civilization games). I think that would be a very good change for TW Warhammer, make things fresh. Even if I am not a big fan of the human factions in this game (saved by Kislev, they are cool), I would not mind the Dogs of War if they come along with Estalia, Marienburg and Araby
ОтветитьI’m new to warhammer although I have played some in the past I just feel like I’m terrible after I claim 2 provinces just about every campaign out of nowhere I get hit by multiple factions with war what am I doing wrong by turn 40 I get slaughtered down to my main keep
ОтветитьEvery Imrik campaign I play with one province for 30 god damn turns.
ОтветитьAlso, REMEMBER WHEN YOU COULD JUST ATTACK COSTAL SETTLEMENTS FROM THE SEA? I DO and IT WAS FUN!
Ответить"Its just one war, right?" Its never just one war. More like 5 wars, particularly on harder difficulties.
I will say though, IF the Elector count AI wasn't so AWFUL at its job, this strategy would work very well for a Empire Playthough.
I like how you essentially took Louen on a crusade against Bel'akor and the Norscans (plus Grom and The Red Duke)
ОтветитьThe Fay Enchantress can do the one province campaign much easier than Louen. L/VH complete by around turn 130. archers stack > questing knight stack > griffon stack > profit
ОтветитьLol this is how I got the legend campaign Achivo xD
ОтветитьVlad can kind of do a single province play with vassals. A combo of his skill tree, lahmian vampire buffs, and tech give a +75 relation with the empire. Vassal templehoff through combat and give him half of sylvania. Raid azhag to get dwarves on your side. Then just make a lot of cash, and use it to bribe people to become new vassals.
ОтветитьI always wondered how it is going to be if I do not continuously conquest in TW games because it is tiresome to constantly wage war. My main fear is that someone will eventually snowball the map and just show up with 10 stacks at my doorstep. Anyway, I think I am going to do a similar playthrough, but with one difference, I will sack then occupy settlements, and then gift them or sell them to those I want to be friends with! That way no nasty skavenses will dwell in the ruins!
ОтветитьI often find myself playing this way.
Move around, sack, I also tend to occupy and sell the taken settlements to my allies. GREAT way to make money fast.
And then I just reinvest the funds to upgrading and building at home, and making more armies.
I usually end up with negative income, but big enough cash reserves that it doesn't matter, as long as I keep sacking.
This might be more of a boring one because its basically how Nurgle plays anyways, but 1 province Ku'gath? Build your province tall, raid/sack/attack caravans for favour, and spread the plague that gives favour. Run armies at a favour loss to attack anything that moves, or use them to spread plagues world-wide.
ОтветитьYou should try one province warriors of chaos
Ответить"Feels like I haven't done anything in 12 turns"
Yep, that's Louen. I love him and I love Bretonnia but Albion is such a pain in the ass to deal with. Belakor himself isn't actually a huge threat after the first major battle robs him of his starting good units. It's just that L'Anguille is completely defenseless. I play with the minor settlement battle returner and I enjoy my campaigns far more because of it. And unlike my main faction, The Empire, Bretonnia doesn't benefit in any way from more minor settlement battles, so it doesn't feel like cheating the way playing Karl Franz and bombarding an AI that'll never leave its settlement to death does.
I actually do this with Reikland, occupying only Reikland and protecting each elector province, spending all my authority to keep everyone on the same team and within their own borders. Reikland is always the wildest campaign if you don't forsake the elector counts.
ОтветитьPlaying tall like that is basically the key to winning a Legendary campaign because you need xp, technology and money to steamroll other factions
ОтветитьI dont think I will hear "Very hard Hard" the same ever again. 😂
ОтветитьWith the endless tides of enemies they throw at you as Louen, I'm convinced having 1 settlement is the only way to play him
ОтветитьThis is how I speed run for all the achievements in Realms of Chaos lol Just get your first province and wait for portals
Ответить"They can become a problem if they get too big, because they are dwarfs" BARS
ОтветитьVera entertaining ! Thanks for this.
Ответитьwood elf?
Ответитьi love this game but only found 1-2 channels doing warhammer videos... and the ones i want to do a full playthrough of all the factions wont or will make us wait years. just found this channel last night. watched all the guides for fun need more part 2s for them as you promised !!!
Ответитьwish i could play. but sadly its only on PC and its expensive asf.
Ответить"Astronob Ironbitch"
Me: Wait what did he say?
proceeds to replay that 2 seconds 13 times
Orc: WAAAAAGH!
Cathay: monopoly.
Bretonia: secretly worshiping Khorne.
Next time you do a campaign like this, sack then raze the settlement. You will acquire more income that way.
ОтветитьThe comedy kills me everytime whether its "that son-of-abitch helman ghorst" or deathmaster bitch" lol. I enjoy these campaign videos
ОтветитьTried this with Lokhir and dark arks, its really fun.
ОтветитьI am currently going for a minor faction (modded so i can play as a minor faction) High Elf campaign where i can only take provinces with a unique building or an ancient high elf colony. Needless to say it was challenging. Oh, and it was on Very Hard.
ОтветитьYou could also try to see if you can win a champaign only with under empires. Idk if it's a good ideea but it sounds interesting to me
ОтветитьAh yes, the Venice playthrough.
P.S. the double interrobang is a bit much imo.
This video is perfect broda Bomba clot mon!
ОтветитьYou should do a skavenblight only campaign
ОтветитьASTROKNOB IRONBITCH?? ILL BLAST YOUR HEATHEN ASS ACROSS THE BADLANDS AND ENSLAVE YOUR KIN -Astrogoth probably
ОтветитьAfter so many hours in this game, my favorite way to play is to take back my factions land and then help out my allies get their land back.
Ответитьauto resolve gaming
ОтветитьI want to do this as a proper playthrough as franz. If only the fucking elector counts were more useful and could contribute their elector counts units and buffs to you as their fealty gets higher. Seriously CA. FIGURE OUT SIMPLE SHIT
ОтветитьI wish I was an astro-goth
ОтветитьWouldn't the main pirate faction works better ?
ОтветитьFor Realms of Chaos this is how i complete the campaigns on Legendary Very Hard its enough to make 1 strong main army and 1 cheaper army just to defend
ОтветитьOfcourse you can but with Archaon.
ОтветитьWhy do you have such a weird channel logo?
ОтветитьI think the wood elves did a better job then you
Ответитьplease continue to do more challenge runs :p
ОтветитьI played this with ikit claw using only skavenblight and about turn 150 I decided to call it I was to OP at that point
Ответитьthats how i won all my VH campaigns, barely holding onto whatever gets me the W lol
ОтветитьPlease, Moussillon is not "Moo-Z-Lon", but closer to "Moo-C-on".
s.: Ze French-speaking nitpick. ;-)
