Bought with 135k kilometers. 9 months ago . After 37k kilometers for € 11k spend on maintenance.

With purchase: Tires, timing belt with fuel pump. Flush the automatic transmission, all control arm rubbers and oils. Brake discs. Really to have a Reset.

Then EGR valves repaired and camshaft seals.

Maintenance that you also have on a simular car with this luxury and age and with which you will drive 40k kilometer.

Still enjoy it every day and hope to be able to drive it to 300/400k miles.

Or spend some more if you want and improved and more resistant air suspension and order shock absorver and bags meant for armored cars.And last but nevertheless if you need armor or intend to make your car way harder for being robbed get a good armor BSS armor services from São Paulo is my option since you don’t end up with those horrible black contours and is more resistant to delamination , their patented technology .

Also forgot to mention everyone can cut costs fitting helicoidal suspension kits choose wisely those better spend a little extra buying those for armored vehicles and VDS sensor fitted.

Is a great car specially regarding reliability if you consider the late 2009 and 2010 or above fited with the AJ V8 jaguar engine way more reliable than bmw V8 engines.

Just bought one, a TDV8 HSE, needs a few bits but hoping to make a profit

Live in the US and have a 2011 RRS SC. I have to do the work because of the high cost. It's an absolute pain in the @ss... but I love it. Everything you said is true - a dream to drive, makes you feel special, etc. My daughters are approaching driving age and are eyeing up my wife's LR4 and my RRS. I don't think I'm ready yet...

I have a 2007 sport 4.2 V8 in the states. 155,000 miles I do put money into it as much as it frustrates me at times i cannot let it go. We also have a 2019 Disco. But I turn the keys more on my Sport. Love that V8 rumble.

I was told no no no...but every day i had an obsession to get 1...i wanted an earler model..n found a 2008 Range Rover Sport 2.7 Diesel....2 owners both ladies..full service history..67.500mls...great condition..fully loaded....had it 30mns engine management light come on n warning sign on dash coolant level low...returned it gotta have a new coolant sensor...and remove EGR valve....turned off management light drove over 150 miles no dramas just a lil smell of fumes...will get EGR blanked off asap...other than that what a class drive you certainly feel special sitting up there looking down on fiestas.n golfs.👍👍👍🤣🤣🤣

2002 Disco 2, 2008 RR Sport, 2001 Disco 2, 2013 RR Sport. Never any problems as I keep up the maintenance and oil changes.

Having watched a earlier video I decided to buy a2010 3.0 TDV6 L320 , been 12 months into my ownership and one word!!!! . MONEY PIT 🥴. Bought a car with service history, spent £4000 on alloys refurbished, tyres , front Lowe wishbones, discs , pads , shoes and callipers all round, dif oil’s change, gearbox service, engine service , thought it’s now the car a wanted it to be 😁. Then crankshaft failure, another £6000 so a £9000 car owes me £19000 , these car do suffer from crankshaft failure so beware, I guess I’m just unlucky 🙄🙄🥴

Here in Canada we only have the petrol versions. So what would be the best L322? 2006-2009 (4.4L or 4.2L SC) or the 2010-2012 (5L or 5L SC)?

Well, I’ve finally taken the plunge and found myself a Sport. I’ve taken your advice and before buying, have found a great specialist who has given me tips before buying. First trip in the beast will be to his workshop to service it and do a transmission service. Wife is having my baby RR, the Evoque, so getting that serviced for her too.

I have a 2010 sport 3 litre diesel, twin turbo, had it for 3 years, best vehicle I've ever owned, no regrets at all. Fantastic in every way, I would highly recommend buying one.

I watch all your new videos and watched this (your first) out of curiosity. I had to stop watching after 2 minutes due to the terrible 'music' and the fact I can't hear a word you're saying. I would watch a remastered version though.

I’m trying to find the right RangeRover settled on 3.6Tdv8 hopefully under 100k miles and FSH 2008-10 budget £12500.
My question is if your searching the whole of UK ( autotrader) and you don’t want to waste time looking at a lot all over the country how do you select via the ad a trust worthy dealer . Reviews are difficult to judge is 12% 1Star bad ? .your reviews are all good .
If you where buying locally you would go by recommendation but this is not possible when searching distant dealers .

Thank you very much for mentioning my home country of Kuwait 👍🏽 where ALL Range Rover sports are strictly petrol 😊 I still have my 2010 HSE V8 5.0 running in excellent condition and yes indeed the mpg is abysmal but the fuel is probably the cheapest on the planet which makes the petrol models far superior IMHO to the diesels …. It is a sport after all 👌. Cheers

Interesting picking this up 3yrs on. I’m toying with buying one. Prices have dropped a fair bit recently & £10k will now buy you a nice one. So my question is, would you buy a good TDV8 or the SVD6? There’s not that much difference in the performance & I’d have thought the 8 speed would have been slightly more economical

All the possitive reviews is what we want to see here , I've recently got a 2012 RRS 104k it's a absolute dream to drive no knocking , the 3l engine is so quite its insane and the smooth drive is priceless..fantastic review puts everything in to perspective 👍
