The end of this movie made me straight up cry. It was ridiculously sad.

It's an excellent movie based on true facts. Wonderful casting of excellent actors. It showed the cruelty of the Great War and the Russian Revolution taking over the Russian Navy, killing many officers and men. The Admiral was the Supreme Leader of the QWhite Army fighting the Communist takeover until he was executed in 1920. Thank you, I enjoyed watching this for the second time.

in another version of this movie i see extra dialogue and scenes

it is a great movie, but the segways are a bit distracting and also the screen like it is blowing in the wind and other times like your watching it through drunken eyes, the plot is good, but if your expecting a lot of navel stuff you will be highly disapointed.
if your looking for a bit more as far as navel stuff from this period then i suggest the battleship potampkin. extended version.

Excellent movie. I think the story is related to Bolshvik revolution and its after events.The admiral surrendered before reds and excuted. Excellent actors and excellent direction and special attraction the beautiful lady Anna who loves admiral. I think she has not married admiral thinking that admiral has already a wife and daughter.
