What kind of SSD?

Is it possible to reset the bios password on these laptops?
An EZ Book X3, from a classroom, and one of the students has entered an administrator and user password in the bios.
As a result, I can't even get into Windows or the BIOS...
Any ideas?
I've reflashed some bios chips, but on this model I can't even find them.

you could just add some kapton tape to isolate the resistors from the copper and avoid any risk of damage to the CPU

This is my sister’s machine, she’s had it two or three years from new. Worked fine and I upgraded it to Windows 11 I think some months ago. Yesterday she closed Firefox and the screen flashed with some brief window then seemed to close itself down. On booting it up all I can get is a blank screen almost immediately after powering up – I have a photo if needed. The screen is closer to white not blue. I’ve tried many combinations of keys while booting but always getting this blank display. I suspect it’s not booting into the OS. I use Macs myself so I’m confused. I remember a nightmare a year or so ago when it tried to upgrade the OS and there wasn’t enough memory on the SSD. Had to boot from a USB with Windows on and delete stuff. Can any-one help?

what if the BIOS doesnt recognize the SSD, i try fresh new install of windows and kubuntu on the SSD, but on windows doesnt show up like boot option, on linux just start the grub console.
I dont have the BIOS unlocked and i didnt found if i unlock it will solve this problem.

Can you add a nvme to the ezbook? I see the adaptor has a nvme shape and in bios it says nvme options but you always talk about sata ssds, maybe because the video is old but do you know if I can add an nvme?

Hi, I saw this video, I wanted to, I have a Yepo737 that has the same BIOS as the EzBook, for over a year I have been trying to start the operating system from the SSD M2 that I added to my Yepo, but the BOOT from SSD does not work , I also used your REFLECT7 program, in the BOOT page I set it as the first but then it always changes me and starts from the eMMC, I did several tests but it's as if the SSD BOOT was blocked. If you could help me you'll be grateful, thanks!

It would be great if you put electrical tape on those cpu resistors then install a larger shim

Tried the copper plate method. Actually it wasn't that much difference, but adding several thermal pads, that actually worked better. Hotter in chassis, but slightly cooler in temp reading.

Does this laptop support nvme ssd?

Why did Jumper limit M.2 slot size to 42mm with rounded bracket eventhough there is MUCH enough room to fit normal full size M.2 like Crucial?

Acquired two units of this product, My experience after 6 months of light use, Defects, Battery does not work, It is restarted constantly, Geartbest technical service does not respond with guarantees. They are dishonest commercial practices. Low quality products + Poor after sales service = High level dissatisfaction. Do not Buy if you do not have a REAL Product warranty.

Just wondering, I have an ezbook 3se that doesn't have the m.2 slot at all, but opening it up it does have a connector where the black m.2 slot could itself connect, do you think I could buy that somewhere or is it a proprietary jumper part?

I've a similar one to this. iota slim 14 I've done this mod and at 14c idle but speedfan is reporting 70c for hd0. Is that the ssd I've installed not working right or do you know?

With SSDs it is best practice to leave 20% of the capacity unallocated to maintain the life span of the unit. This is because the storage cells tend to fail after around 100,000 writes, SSD controllers spread the writes around unallocated space to spread out the "wear". Too little unallocated space and the wear is concentrated on too few cells, until they die.

can't find 10mm x 10mm copper heatsink shim - could you buy 15mm and just cut it down to size?

Could you show how to fix some keys from the keyboard. My Jumper Ezbook 3 was on my desk and my cat sit on the keyboard now some letters don't work, they are 3, E, D, C letters only. Can you show a check / fix video of the kayboard?

I have a problem on my jumper ezbook 3 pro. It shutdown automatically theb wheh i try to open it shows in screen about "plesse select boot device: UEFI:BUILT IN EFI SHELL. Windows boot manager etc.." but cant keys enter didn't function so i showdown then when it open again some keys on keyboard not functioning then after a day it didn't open at all untill now.
