THANK YOU a gazillion Scott. I hope you really know how much you are appreciated and how much value you are adding to lives of others - seriously. There is no way for us to really "get" all of this without generous and talented souls like you and Melody. And you are SUCH a good instructor. Thorough. Clear. It's awesome!!!!!
ОтветитьFirst time watching your video. Thanks
ОтветитьI'm about to start selling something and I don't know what. I just wanna sell and after listening to you I feel motivated to just do it instead of researching and planning. I'll be back with the outcome at some point. Thank you for your insight ❤
ОтветитьI appreciate you brother- authentic precise and extremely helpful- thank you
ОтветитьThank you!❤
ОтветитьAWESOME THANX FOR THE ADVICE!
Ответитьthanks
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьGreat videos, i do have a specific question for you. I regularly get ebay discount on sellers fees 80%. My question is. How can i list multiple of the same item in separate listings, separate lastings only eligible for the discount?
ОтветитьSo encouraging. Great tips. Starting out soon. Thank you
Ответитьgreat info thank you so much !!!!!!!
ОтветитьHi I new to ebay and I been doing it say 6 months now and only sold about 3 items my stuff I put on there don't seem to be selling don't no what I doing wrong I was thinking of just giveing up 😢
Ответить#11...
Don't sell cheap crap or items in crowded 'race to the bottom' widget categories. Uniqueness and rarity trumps that stuff any day. And don't put 'rare' in the title for crying out loud (#11.1).
What a refreshing video full of great and valuable info.
ОтветитьThis should be a series! I like the format
ОтветитьThank you very much Scott!!! Man !!! Greatly appreciate your unselfish advice
ОтветитьDo you wash the shoes/clothes you buy to resell to make them more presentable and if you do what do you use for the shoes
ОтветитьTHANK YOU SO MUCH!! Genuinely I am so grateful for this video and can tell you and your wife are TRULY wonderful people! Again, thank you for being so kind and willing to take the time out to help others!
ОтветитьThank you Yes it was very helpful ❤
ОтветитьI've been an eBay seller for almost 10 years, but was dormant during the pandemic. I love the way you did this presentation. You're very relatable, and I learned a lot. Thank you!
ОтветитьThank you so much for all your videos. Starting is intimidating and confusing; you are easing the pain!
Ответитьgreat video!!
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьWhat's typical turnaround time of listing and selling?
ОтветитьThank you! Hi I would like to ask for help regarding delivery. I live in Hungary and I would like to ask which courier service do you use?
ОтветитьThank you, Scott. I'm just starting out. Great info!!🎉❤
ОтветитьHow do you identify something that has no other than using like Google lens because sometimes Google lens doesn't pull up the exact thing...
I want to start selling on eBay but I want to make sure I know what I'm doing and what I'm selling and I'm being as honest as I can about what I'm trying to sell..
Also I know on Etsy but you still have to be either vintage or handmade.. that's not the case on eBay right you can pretty much do whatever you want
I post 2 items a day on my lunch break. I ship everyday I can on my way to work. And I prepare sales to ship after work.

ОтветитьGreat gems in this! Thanks!
ОтветитьI just ordered $27 item then got email immediately with $400item
ОтветитьI just got back on to eBay after 25 yrs and again I am getting scammed! I truly disappointed in eBay via what I ordered to my payment of. $6.71 I was being scram for $456.71 for the product. 😂. But I don't think eBay is good!
ОтветитьThanks for this great 'basics' video. I've been selling online since 1996 - I've been trying over this past year to revisit the basics. I didn't realize how stale my selling had become because I stopped learning and had gotten into a rut. Revisiting the basic stuff now and then, and looking at your workflows from a different perspective is really an important thing to do. I could add notes to all of the things you mentioned here from experience, but that's not why I'm commenting. Looking forward to watching your other videos. Good luck to you and your wife!
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьI can't stand losing 13% to ebay fees and then paying the 25% tax at the end of year on the coins I want to sell. There's not the markup on coins like it is on other items
ОтветитьQUESTION PLEASE: If I'm selling my mother's size medium shirt (I'm bigger), how do i show her shirt, since he says not to do a stock photo?
ОтветитьGood morning thinking about starting to sell on ebay. Thanks for sharing your knowledge may have a few more questions on the future
ОтветитьGreat video, inspiring
ОтветитьI’m glad I found your video. I’ve been wanting to sell on eBay for years. And I don’t know what I’m afraid of. I think not taking good pictures is one thing. And how to word each post. But I’m getting a new iPad. So made that will motivate me. This old one sucks it doesn’t post every letter you press for word. So there’s a lot of fixing things. But thanks again.
ОтветитьThank you for the video! I did laugh when you mentioned not being able to find an item!! I’ve been there done that!! 😂
ОтветитьThank you, this video was helpful.
ОтветитьHello thank you for your videos! Ok my mother in law passed away a few years ago and I was given over 60 Disney cookie jars and quite a few sell for more than 150 dollars on ebay , I've NEVER sold anything online so I have no idea where to start but I'm looking into it now, any advice would be greatly appreciated!
ОтветитьThat is a very good video. Thanks
ОтветитьThank you sir, i do appreciate the info !!
ОтветитьThe reason you don't use stock photos isn't because someone else owns them. It is because it misrepresents what you are selling and it is dishonest.
ОтветитьThank you for your video!! Really appreciate it!
ОтветитьGood video. TY, TU, etc.
ОтветитьAs a retired postal worker my advice to shippers is buy a digital scale because you can’t know shipping costs without an accurate weight. USPS just like any other business wants to be paid for their services. Your online calculation of weight is used as they load planes to decide when a plane has reached weight capacity. Your honesty matters to the safety of that loaded plane. If you don’t have a scale that correctly weighs to the ounce then you don’t have the proper tools to correctly calculate correct postage in the shipping apps. You can’t guesstimate weight and get the postage correct, you will either pay too much or not enough and delay your packages, and compromise airline safety. 1st class is 13 Oz and less at the retail ….not 1 pound, unless your using a online app giving you a discount because you are a professional shipper making your own labels. Under 1 pound every ounce matters in how much it will cost. Yes you pay a little more for a 1st class parcel classification than you do for a machinable 1st class letter or flat ….but it comes with tracking that is not an option with a letter or flat. It costs more to process something nonmachinable and requires we scan it. Packing supplies are your responsibility. Often we will help a rookie to get things together for a onetime need to get something somewhere. But you the professional shipper needs to attach your own labels, close your own packages, and budget what it costs to package it. Yes we have free priority shipping products in our lobbies to help rookies and onetime shippers, but you can and need to order your cases of priority supplies online and have them shipped to you. You can order priority products that USPS doesn’t want in our lobbies so they can sell the expensive packing products they keep in the lobby. Just because you can find free padded envelopes online doesn’t mean you can demand those items at the retail counter. Retail Stores can’t order all the cool sizes of boxes, and envelopes you can, I had customers that used to order them for me, and I would order them to my house as well to have on hand to help customers….and no you can’t have all 10 I have hid at my window. I jumped through hoops to get those and you need to plan like that too. Free shipping supplies are nice but you need to plan to have them….they don’t just happen. Good luck everyone! I adored my eBay regulars and we worked together to keep the customers happy.
ОтветитьHow do I not sell myself short on not having the right amount of shipping cost added to a product?
