Good evening, I just stumble upon your page and I love what I am hearing. I have been in business since the start of the pandemic with little amount of help, mostly my husband, sometimes my son and I. Can my husband be classified as a W-2 employee? one company told me no, so I dug deeper into them and stopped talking to them. I am so confused and need the correct answers.

I've heard the IRS is Auditing everyone who claims the ERC for any Fraud or Mis-use.

Not sure if this has been asked already....Isn't it odd that the preparer wants a percentage of the refund? (In my experience, CPAs charge an hourly or project rate.
Also, what if the funds are approved and paid, the preparer is paid their fee then later the IRS wants to audit the information, and ultimately disqualifies the transaction? The company would be required to pay back the IRS and would probably be stiffed with the preparer's fee. Or is there some insurance that the preparer carries if this happens?

The scam is clear when you realize there are tax & legal firms out there who require no money up front, just the contingency fee after the ERC funds arrive, which of course means the business was eligible and the filing was done correctly. And I know at least 1 firm that does that.

Do not let your cpa or payroll to file this this document, just like she said all there only going to use your payroll and theres three ways to get you qualified per quarter and that way she is recommended will get you back litte to no returns, i bet her team and her are great but ive seen this time and time again, when someone like her that only knows revenue reduction that will leave money on the table. I am working with a clients rn, someone like her filed for there erc and they got back 78k thats decent but we did it correctly and now there getting back 122k extra because we know exactly what we are doing. So do your research on your erc company and do not go to a single individual for this credit you will be leaving money on the table.

Oh yes I have questions as EIN for members only setup, thats 🌐 communities not just locally in USA. What could this mean for the 5 members whom serving over 4,300 people? Are my members & me due process with the ERC they are for chairty organizations?

Hello! I got a call from ERC advisors USA. I did not understand up front that these people were not actually from the government. They had me send this information to them and then have been high pressure for me to sign paperwork. Once the high-pressure started it raised a red flag for me. I can tell my business qualifies but I don't want to use someone that's not reputable. We currently have a small business and all my payroll and reports are run through QuickBooks online. Advice?

What about companies that do it free of charge and pay back the percentage AFTER?

With the new amendments to the appropriations bill, most companies who had W-2 employees from March 2020 to Sept 2021 qualify. And that's a fact.

I was also approached by Capata CPA and they say they can offer much more. I appreciate the help

We filed ERC in oct 2021 and all 3 quarters had more than 250k in each quarter. We have not received any notice or credit and has been over a year. Calling IRS has same answer everytime. What should be our next steps?

If you had supply chain issues such as delays in shipping and receiving of materials, but you did not lose money or increased revenue are you still eligible for the ERC credit

What do you say about the scammers who target people who don't own a business at all and promise them that the money is free for them as well?

Thank you. My friend's daughter paid someone 130.00 to process the paperwork. It showed she would receive 26,000. My friend told me her daughter agreed to give this person 7000 of the refund. I challenged my friend in saying how did her daughter get a refund when her daughter did not have a business. And if she did she was the only one. She had no ees. I told my friend I believe her daughter was scammed.

Hello, I just signed up to be an affiliate with BottomLine Concepts. This company is based out of Fla and NY. My plan is to go to businesses, ask them if they received their ERC… and direct them to BottomLine Concepts to see if they are eligible. BottomLine only gets paid if the employer gets paid. My question to you is : do you think this is a legit company. I do not want to waste my time going to businesses etc…. If the company gets approved and paid I get a commission. But I by no means want to work for a company that’s a SCAM! I tried to research the company and they seem legit. I would love your opinion. Thanks so much!

Thank you for the info. I have a small manufacturing business and full time w-2 employees that are not related to me. I don’t qualify due to reduced revenue but I have had major supply chain issues due to unavailability of raw materials. Is that a qualifier?
