There is a building that de-waters swampy areas to make them buildable.

I wonder if the restoration system was meant to give you some choice at which you keep, with the rest being replaced by modern version of the same type of building?

I was also a bit disappointed by mausoleum.
It just saves by default the closest 3 buildings...no matter where they are. But it is hardcapped at 3 :/

I belive the point is not being able to restore everything

why not make more production facilities so that you have the resources to rebuild
