Before I continue to watch, yeah although green is my favorite color, I really find it hard to actually use it in my illustrations, so I end up using blue to yellow and avoided green even though I really want to use it.

Cyan has a higher luminosity than Green, doesn't it? So wouldn't it make more sense for the shadows to remain at 120 degrees rather than going towards either Yellow or Cyan?

You have overused yellow, in my opinion.

Color theory has always been very intuitive for me, but green lawns and foliage are my nemesis. Even if my color is ok, the shapes and balance of detail are always off. Luckily, I prefer painting naked trees and snow;)

Poison Hemlock usually has a tendency to be very blue compared to say a Sweet Wormwood with an otherwise similar look in juvenile stage.
