My personal theory for SCP-001 is that it's the Founder of SCP h̶i̶m̶s̶e̶l̶f̶ itself, hence going to such lengths in order hide its true identity. It would make sense in that case that only the 05 know of SCP-001's true identity/form because well, they probably see h̶i̶m̶ it everyday during council meetings or heck, even dinner parties. You can't convince me the 05 don't hold weekly, top-secret, exquisite dinner parties where they probably dress up as their favorite SCPs and gush and nerd about the latest discoveries or how that MTF squad got totally fucking wrecked by that Keter that escaped, and end the night with a containment breach footage watch party.

I created an SCP a couple years ago. SCP-539. The Researchers. Literally anyone who works for the SCP foundation. Like, they work with dangerous anomalies. Why the hell would you want to work there. The reason for the number 539, is because, 5 looks like an S, 3 is a backwards C with a line in the middle, and the 9 looks like a P

My favorite SCP is 049, but I also have a fondness for sympathetic/sad/wholesome ones. Like the Bear With a Heart of Patchwork (SCP 2295), Here Were Dragons (SCP 1762), A Gift From Dad (SCP 348), things like that. There’s something so strangely comforting about reading bittersweet stories like those.

I personaly like this theory that one of his own childern will destroty him and its one of the best scps 999 also 682 is speculated to be one of his children

One of my favorite scps is the bowl of rice that makes anyone in its immediate vicinity speak and write exclusively in haiku, as well as the world's gayest man (he's apparently a really nice and friendly guy but he's so radioactive that even hazmat suits aren't safe enough for interactions with him)

But my top favorite SCPs are SCP-3935 "This Thing a Quiet Madness Made" and SCP-701 "The Hanged King's Tragedy" and the other tales and SCPs involving SCP-701, namely SCP-2264 "In The Court of Alagadda", the tale "And So The Crows Laughed", and also the tale "A Wandsman in the Court of the Hanged King"

I may have hyper-fixated on The Hanged King. Something about the phrase "a god shaped hole" is just...so fascinating to me.

I've never heard of SCP before. These are so cool! I can imagine this as a really great anthology television series.

When writing German, don't omit the Umlaut dots (e.g. Dämmerung vs. Dammerung). They do make a difference.

I personally prefer the timeline that portrays the foundation as younger, because it's more interesting to me to imagine that ordinary people stumbled into these supernatural phenomenon and decided to start the foundation to protect humanity and study these phenomenon. Only thing that doesn't make sense with a young foundation is all of these world ending scenarios that are also ancient?

Wow, I just realized that Damnerung probably is not the weird typo I assumed it to be. The German word they are going for is Dämmerung and thus usually if you just drop the umlauts it would be written with two m and not mn. However, if you pronounce "damn", it sounds very close to how "Dämm" would be pronounced, so maybe that was a conscious decision after all and a smart one that I wouldn't even have considered.
