And this ladies and gentlemen is why I 3D print ALL my GW minis for next to nothing.
They are following Woolworths business plan of "want more profit, charge higher prices.....wait why are we making less money? where have all our loyal customers gone? why nobody buy anymore?" Who are they trying to appeal to? Time was their target audience was young children and teens getting their parents to buy them a tank or squad of men for less than a tenner.

Now they are targeting the rich it seems, And so they will eventually go broke as their previous audience can no longer afford their ridiculous prices. If GW want to thrive they need to drastically lower their prices and they WILL find they start to gain huge sales. Also positive advertising helps, doing community things, letting content creators thrive and giving the world positive free advertising for them. Build their reputation up from scumbag profiteers to friendly family oriented community builders.

At first I thought he wanted "50,000 Tau"s!

This is exactly why I have zero interest in getting back into the tabletop side of it and shun GW like Nurgle's Rot. Their pots still suck, their paints are meh and they clearly have no interest in actually doing anything of value these days. Just look the fiasco with Lion El Johnson. GW are a joke. Why buy their stuff when you can get a 3D printer and download some incredible minis as STLs from MyMiniFactory for pennies and print them yourself? Or buy them pre-printed from Etsy? It just makes no sense to keep feeding this bloated and rotting corpse of a company.
