Actor Elliot Page speaks at Supreme Court against banning trans gender-affirming care for minors

As the Supreme Court heard arguments Wednesday morning in United States v. Skrmetti over whether Tennessee can ban transgender-affirming care for minors, protesters on both side spoke outside.

Actor Elliot Page spoke out: "I know how important it is for all of us to disrupt the narratives that demonize us."

"The evidence proves that this medical care is safe and effective," Page, who is transgender, said. "We all know that they want to ban this care, not because it doesn't work, but because it does."
