Sorry but the title is wrong. The soda can guy is not the killer. He was actually blackmailing the killer.
ОтветитьKevin is my favorite side character s
Ответитьdont American cars have emergency brakes/hand brakes?
ОтветитьThere's a feature called HAND BREAKKKKKKKKKKKKK
ОтветитьI wondering where scene monk catches the killer...?
ОтветитьWheres the other 1/2 of this episode. You cant leave me hanging like this
ОтветитьI like how the upstairs neighbor's pointless "he's checking his messages..." etc. Exposition, was completely unnecessary (which was the joke) at the time, but now 20 years later it actually help us know what is happening for those of us who havent used a physical answering machine in over a decade.
ОтветитьActually, even peering into the windows to search in the way they do violates the 4th amendment. You don't even need to lean into the door.
ОтветитьGuy just randomly has a bowling pin is his living room?
ОтветитьDrove from the middle of the suburbs out to the mountains without ever hitting the brakes. She must have blown through every single stop sign on the way to the mountains.
Ответитьput car in lower then lowest gear... after car slows down pull the emergency brake.
ОтветитьHe’s a killa but I’m still alive lol
ОтветитьThe conclusion to this is found in the clip labelled “Monk solves murder on live TV”.
ОтветитьAlways focus on the direction you want to go
ОтветитьBut Judy cheated on Monk! How did she deserve his love and his suffering after her death? Or maybe the affair had happened before she met Monk?
ОтветитьPull up the emergency brake😮
ОтветитьHandbrake?
ОтветитьYou're absolutely right Issac.
ОтветитьMaybe I'm wrong about this, but failing all of the other stuff that people have already commented, why wouldn't you just jump out of your car? Of course you'll still be hurt and, yes, you might still die, but it would at least increase your chances of survival. Particularly if you did it when you got to the grass.
ОтветитьI love Monk and Kevin❤😂
ОтветитьTheyre so cute togetherr
ОтветитьThe thumbnail lmao
ОтветитьThe thumbnail is hilarious! Little baby Monk found a toy 😂
ОтветитьI feel like down gearing the car and using the parking brake or shutting off the car would help to avoid these "tragedies" irl
ОтветитьBut the clip doesn't show him solving the case!
ОтветитьFYI, you can't "lean". hahhahahah. The doorway and windows of your house have an invisible barrier. Penetrating that barrier is breaking and entering.
ОтветитьCan ya just turn car off?
ОтветитьThey really make the bad guy seem provincial by making him disdainful of California? lol
ОтветитьI have always wondered what drives a person to prefer driving their car over a cliff to damaging their transmission by either downshifting to low or putting it in Reverse.
NEWSFLASH: your transmission will be toast anyway when you go over the cliff.
Kevin made a great side-kick, a sort of Robert Crumb vibe.
ОтветитьVal's fingerprint could have been on the soda can tab. Monk just left it there?
ОтветитьThey were in the hillside of Griffith Park and the city behind them is Los Angeles. Not San Francisco. Pussies!
ОтветитьHonestly people in the comments have been supplying different ways to just brake when you can't brake normally. I just figured if it comes to that point in such a similar situation, unbuckle your belt and just get out the car. Better hurt than dead.
ОтветитьWhy is she still accelerating after she knows the breaks are not working?
ОтветитьOh girl! Just downshift and use your emergency brake. Scrape the hillside to burn off energy and call a tow truck. Dont just scream and pump the non working brakes for 30 seconds!
Writers can be so bad. But the director and editor really take the blame this time for just stretching out the scene way too long to make it more 'dramatic', but it instantly also makes it unbelievable.
What upsets me is that the victim may have been saved if she got medical attention quickly. The cheater was starting to dial 911, but stopped when she started to say the game show host did it. At that moment, his greed took over and he let her die.
ОтветитьThere was no “catches killer with a soda can” in this clip.
ОтветитьA 640 Benz ?..I don't think so..
ОтветитьThe camera crew in the car survived that crash along with their gear so they could make this show?
I worked in Vancouver years ago with Stanley Tucci, Richard Jenkins, etc, as an extra on the movie The Core... it was fun and the actors were fun too... everyone survived the show! At one point we had to pull on threads connected to the overhead lights and move around to make it look like we were experiencing an earthquake.
To prevent this, use manual transmission.
You can just put in the first gear and it will break for you. At some point you can engage the handbreak or steer into the mountain.
I don't understand how someone could get to a highway and not realize their brakes aren't working.
ОтветитьDear everyone advising to downshift:
Most modern automatic transmissions EVEN IF YOU DOWNSHIFT the lever, will not slip into a lower gear until it is safe to do so meaning since her car was going so fast, the transmission will want to wait until she slows down a bit to avoid damage (at least that’s what my 2001 does). The best course of action would be to NOT TURN THE CAR OFF (you will lose power steering) and shift to neutral and apply the parking brake. You could also ride the ditch or intentionally swerve back and forth if you have the space (you lose speed when turning)
Why is it that nobody in fiction ever realizes that the 'parking brake' is also known as the 'emergency brake' for a reason? And don't tell me "Oh, that doesn't work" because I've done it before. It's a slow and grinding stop, but it's still a safe stop, especially if you drop into neutral while you do it.
ОтветитьFirst of all, thats an Audi, if u cut the break line the warning light goes on, allso the break system is built so that even if 1 line is bloken, 2 wheels would still operate. And to finish this off, the handbreak would work even on a broken break lined wheel.
ОтветитьIt's such a weird jumping to conclusions Monk does here. "I just saw someone do a thing millions of people do, but clearly finding this can means he was here."
Love me some Monk, but this was wild!
I loved Kevin such a shame they killed him off he was a great friend to Monk
ОтветитьUse the parking break you simpleton.
ОтветитьRugged terrain face... O Adrian
ОтветитьMonk and Columbo, my favorite quirky detectives!
Ответитьdude you can't make that title and not show how he does it.
Ответить
