Got the blue one. Nice controller, use it for both my gaming rig and PS5.

I got lucky and ordered my PS5 through PS Direct!!! Can’t wait, so excited!! Now I have to wait until I get paid in 2 days and I’m going to order Galactic PURPLE everything!

The shelf life of the controllers isn't very long. Am I supposed to buy 2-3 of these a year because R3 doesn't work at all and the controller never seems to retain charge for very long?

W A R N I N G: I have wasted $200 of my Canadian money on both the pink and purple, thinking they would appear as vivid as they appear on every advertisement including this video.
The pink is a child's toy pink, and the galactic purple is absolutely dark/royal blue NOT purple. It makes the plastic look cheap in both cases.

Will these be permanently available in the future? I am waiting for more games to come out on the PS5 before I switch, but I know I will need a second controller when I do since I regularly use two on my PS4. I love the Galactic Purple color (purple is my favorite color), and noticed on the product page that it says "while supplies last" next to the dates available for purple but not the other colors. So I'm wondering if this is a limited color I need to get now if I want it, or if I can plan for it being available in the future when I pick up a PS5. Thanks!

Why can’t I preorder the purple one from Amazon? Please help me figure it out because I have a $90 gift card balance and if they’re only gonna have blue/pink available on Amazon then I’d rather just spend the money on something else, I tried calling Amazon customer support to ask but they didn’t have any information on we there they will have it or not, but I find it weird that Amazon has to wait til the 28th for preorders when on psdirect you get them earlier? I believe today the 14th, but I’m confused why Amazon only has 5 options of the 6 color options missing one being the purple one like I was gonna go ahead and order the red controller but it’s not as dark as I’d like so I’m just waiting for the purple controller to be available on Amazon 🙏🏻 if not I’m going to get either gran turismo when it’s released for ps5 or another controller color that’s not too bright like the blue/pink bf not the white cause I already have the one that came with the console, the black one is nice but I’d rather have on with a color that pops like the purple one plus I got a purple DS4 that I rarely use cause I mostly play Cold War and a couple other ps5 games, I’ve used my purple DS4 less than 10 times cause I got it the week of them mailing my ps5 that I preordered from Sony direct after they sent me a this is your last chance to preorder email lucky me
