ОтветитьI'd be happy about just getting out Chicago lol
I get it though I did 80+ hours a week of work for 8 months straight still felt like I wasn't doing enough

Props for taking risks, most people never have a go at their dreams, respect
ОтветитьIt's just a ride...
ОтветитьFeezo to the moon
Ответитьhell yeah; also a good thing to remember that nothing is as pressing as the one pressing would leave you to believe (even if its yourself).
ОтветитьIts crazy how your interests and doing stuffs is so similar with me.... can really feel all your struggles and vibes . You guys are awesome ✨️
ОтветитьPrayers
ОтветитьDude, "perfectionism" is a big problem that will block all sorts of progress. I'm glad you're pushing through it. Lack of motivation is a symptom of perfectionsim. Please keep being kind to yourself.
Ответитьyou are the best teacher for me.
ОтветитьIm too bad with words, especially in english, to express all my thoughts here in a matter of seconds, but the world would be a better place if more people were like you and dared to do, what they really want. So yeah i aprecciate your content, you as a person and be sure i gonna stay tuned on the other channels
ОтветитьI only found your channel recently but I've been loving what you do. August Rain has been one of my favorite songs lately. Life gets tough sometimes, but you just gotta stay strong, take a mental reset, and keep giving it your best. Keep it up man :)
Ответитьwow really reaaally good video. Love y'all.
Ответитьwelcome to oklahoma man! you came right when it became the hottest its ever been lol
Ответитьvideos like these specific ones are a big favorite of mine. :)
as a creative it is so easy to forget the humanity behind creating art, the motivation phases, the expectations, etc. because you don't see that when looking at most other people's art. and it is so unbelievably refreshing just getting a video from a musician who has inspired me massively (it's true!) just talking about self reflective thoughts about his life and goals. wonderful video and i'm really looking forward to streams!!
This video is so real, and I can relate so much to the “feeling like you’re not doing enough” Also just wanted to say that you inspired me to start producing years ago 🙏🏽🙏🏽
ОтветитьIn the exact same boat as you - doing stuff all the time yet never doing enough
ОтветитьLove u man❤ the most important thing is you do what u love no matter what
ОтветитьWe love you
Ответитьhey man, i started watching around the time you left chicago and watching you go through with projects and work on music as well as a multiplicity of other things has really inspired me to try my hardest, in july i got in a pretty bad car accident that forced me to drop out of college only after my first two semesters, im getting so much better now and i just wanna say thank you, watching you has pushed me to make some tracks that im really proud of, i definitely wasnt in that beginner range that you try to appeal to with your tutorials but your videos showed me that i just need to make music for me and do what makes me happy.
thanks so much, valerie.
maybe one day you could collab with patrick cc. i've been watching y'all both for yrs n he actually moved to okc a few yrs back.
ОтветитьGenuinely the realest person I've ever come across on the internet. You're gonna go so far bro.
ОтветитьWe love you Felix... happy birthday and God bless and keep you guys
Ответитьoklahoma gang
Ответитьbro i relate to you so much. same state (i live in tulsa) im 22 and have the same dreams, goals, and mental struggles. I needed to hear this. i watched a few of your vids a while ago. I’m gonna fs throw you a sub and stay tuned. Much love brother
ОтветитьLove this video, it makes me thinking about my life cuz I can relate to some of the things u said.
ОтветитьThanks for posting this; a lot of it resonated. I’ve been reading “The Artist Way” with some other musicians and the daily practice of writing 3 pages of whatever is on your mind which has you work through your thoughts and anxieties has been unexpectedly and tremendously useful. I’m 11 of 12 weeks in and plan to continue with the practice once I’m done with the book.
Ответитьmost of the time i have problems to pay attention to theses "talk" videos and i stop watching the videos after 1-2min, but your persona is so relatable and interesting that i really watched the whole 19min and let a comment here. Very inspirational because i can reflect all your problems to my problems. I'm almost 25 though.
Keep doing things the way you want to do them.
Mad respect to you mate ive been watching your videos for a little while especially your drumming videos. I can relate with social media and technology honestly it is a waste of time. Glad your finding ways to overcome this addiction.
ОтветитьBeen watching you for coming up on a year now, you always come across as so down to earth and genuine. Keep making amazing art Felix <3
Ответитьlove this video brother.
ОтветитьHey Felix,
First off, happy bday man. You explain your thoughts well and I respect. The video's are super creative. It's interesting to see how many camera angles you use! On the whole social media thing and internet not being healthy for us, I get what you mean. I to go through phases where I use it a lot, and then phases where I don't. I do think that if we had less of these things, people would be more social and looking out for each other.
The part about getting older, finding that difficult, and sometimes struggling with that, that resonated. I experience similar feelings and ask the same questions around that time.
All in all, the plan sounds solid! I do think it wil help you being more creative. Good luck man. All the best!
I feel exactly the same, I’ve wasted 7 months because I got burnt out and felt like this music world wasn’t made for me and now I’m back since 2 months ago so for everyone, take breaks if you need them but never ever give up🫂
ОтветитьDopamine Addiction affects the best of us. Self discipline and time management are the cure.
ОтветитьKeep going dude. I'm almost 30, married, and I have three girls. I feel unmotivated all the time and it can be depressing af. Years ago I had a good thing going with game editing and was constantly deploying. I just didn't have the time and gave up. I'm still trying to find the motivation to leave a piece of me behind and I'm barely revisiting that with learning music. I've definitely had weird feelings, regret, not being enough, things like that. Walking away, taking a break, being out in nature and socializing with others may help, especially someone who spikes that energy before heading back to your zone. I try to ask myself and it's weird saying it this way... "If I were to die, was I happy with what I did?" Just asking myself that helps me stay in my lane and find that positivity. Music is so difficult. My biggest challenge is not having the patience to learn FL Studio. You're 23 and you've made it this far. If you ever feel stuck, moving away temporarily from that dark place may help. Yours might be different but music, people, and nature help me. Don't go in it alone :( Have friends and family to talk to. I can 100% relate to perfectionism. It's a battle mentally. Eating healthy, exercise, and proper sleep are proven to help. It's tough though :/
ОтветитьThanks for sharing what's been going on. I'm so glad to listen. I'm also a producer, you can find my beats on all platforms just type search up ELDASY. I have a subreddit called UpcomingMusicArtists for all types of musicians to share their music and talk about music. Feel free to join and post. Just another place to share your talent and love for music 😊
ОтветитьThe one and only holy eternal God created us in His image, according to His likeness. But we sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and the wages of sin is death and the verdict for our sins when the day comes for us to be judged by God is hell but God in his great love sent His only begotten Son, Jesus. fully God and fully man. And live a perfect life and died for our sins on the cross and after three days being buried He rose from the dead. The death that you and I deserve, Jesus take so He can pay and atone for our sins and give us eternal life and we can be with Him. Just like how a person may be guilty but because someone paid for his fine he is free to go that's what Jesus did for us. What only we need to do is to repent of our sins (turning away from every sins everyday) and believe and put our trust and faith on Him and what He did for us that He already paid for our sins in the cross, not trusting in our good deeds or works for our salvation or to get to heaven but on what He did for us in the cross and and actively following Him every day and building a relationship with Him. "faith working through love" "faith that has action or works"
ОтветитьGreat vid man, enjoy these authentic talking videos a lot. Look forward to hopping in to some livestreams.
ОтветитьHeey i've just found ur channel and I want to say is golden, is helping me to produce better music
Ответитьhey man.. go for gold. watched you from the very beginning and honestly, satisfied with the content ure making.
Ответитьhey man, i havent seen you in a while
ОтветитьBro. You’re so right. Doomscrolling is stealing our lives from us. I’m done wasting my life. You saved me thousands of hours.
ОтветитьThe point you made about social media vs being present in the moment is so true. I have a pretty bad addiction to social media, but something I started to do (and honestly have trouble keeping up with) is sometimes just going outside on my back porch with my cat and just sitting there, enjoying the fresh air. Maybe the rain, maybe the sun. But just sit there and do nothing. Nature is really beautiful too, I'd like to see more of it as soon as I can
ОтветитьI just watched your field recording video! Hilarious. You have a great approach to content making. Subbed.
ОтветитьYo I just seen this for the first time right now but I can tell you there are definitely people like me who tune in, at least occasionally, not really for the music side of things but just cuz you a funny ass relatable dude. Real recognize real. All I'm saying is its not too late to become a lumberjack. lol. I'll peep your other channels now and see whats going on.
