Is it new official channel from walkera?

How often do you need to perform that procedure? Is it every time before you start flying? Another thing does it enter into return home mode as soon as it lost signal or have low battery?

I have a 2 part question for you. One thing I havn't been able to get an answer to as of yet is what kind of range can we expect from the Devo 7. I have a Walkera 2801 Pro that I was using for a Storm 450 collective pitch heli sold by Helipal. That was more than I could handle so I sold the heli but kept the radio.

I am considering a Drone 6 GPS which a RTF hexacopter and is also sold by Helipal. It comes with the Devo 7 radio. My 2802 Pro is the  100mw version, not the 10mw version. I don't plan on using it for the hexacopter as I would never be able to set it up but can I expect similar range from the Devotion 7 as the 2801 Pro?
