What is your desktop? That is cool. Not the Mac one but the computer screen one. What is the brand?
Ответитьwow this is so informative, thanks!
ОтветитьNo one should rush in any profession, not just in the tech industry. Take the time to actually learn and revise what you learned. I'll guarantee you, that is the only way a great company will notice you, if and ONLY if you actually learn and use what you learn. Good luck to you all!
ОтветитьSuch a cute intro of ui/ux❤️
Ответитьapologies if this sounds really stupid, but please can someone explain workshop facilitation skills please? I don't understand. Thanks
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video
ОтветитьHey guys, I’m really struggling. I’ve been a nurse for 7months, I regret becoming a nurse and think I should have pursued my passion in UI design/ anything to do with designing apps, logos, websites etc earlier but I love helping people so I chose nursing and all my experiences are based in health care and I have no experience in TECH, just decorating a website for myself via Wix and posters and logos for people based on their wants. Without going back into college or university how do I get myself into UI design? I don’t mind an apprenticeship or something that can help me start. I’m so lost and I’ve written my resignation letter for my current nursing job and will be handing it in this week with a 2months notice to give myself time to find another job outside of healthcare for now until I can find an apprenticeship or course or internship for UI. Any suggestions? I’m based in the UK 🇬🇧 Thank you x

ОтветитьHi Rachel! You are amazing, thank you so much for your resources. 💞

ОтветитьIt is SO kind of you to create these videos on top of giving us a roadmap! I've been pretty lost recently as my course literally called Interaction Design didn't actually do UX design at all (I thought there might be some y'know) and I fell out of love with design for a while. The course was good and I learned a lot, but I'm excited to learn more about UI and UX design and hopefully build a career from it. Thank you so much for these incredibly helpful videos, it is so kind and generous of you
ОтветитьThank you, it is helpful for me
ОтветитьHey, what is first thing to learn out of all of those? I know how to animate and a bit of design, what would be the next few thing to learn in order to land me a job?
ОтветитьWho are the stakeholders?
Ответитьthanks for this information
ОтветитьHow do you download the list? I am unable do it. Can someone please help me? I want a print out.
ОтветитьWhat do you mean with the Phrase to not think like I am Not the User?
Thought it would be Important
Your video is so helpful. I have been teaching for a while and I would to transition to UX/UI design. It’s been tough to find a guide. Your road map is great
ОтветитьThanks a lot 😊
ОтветитьI self taught person.... Ux ui..
But i don't know.. and get it how i make notes... Bcz everything is become messy and mixed up....
Sometimes the best instincts of UI & UX conflicts. Either role needs to understand the other. Often it’s best to let UI people go wild on the divergent stages of the design then let a different UX person reign it in.
If you are full-filling both roles, you won’t be imaginative enough on the divergent stage, neither would you be ruthless enough to kill the pretty designs that doesn’t satisfy the UX need (after all they are your baby).
The sad fact is that most startups want to go cheap and hire only one person. In this case, better get a great UX person that can knock out an Okay UI. You can always hire a genius UI contractor to do a “rebranding” afterwards.
You are really a UX Designer Rachel you know what your viewers need. Your videos are really helping out, I can't thank you enough dear! Please keep sharing more such information.
ОтветитьCareful. One you start, you will never be able to un-see design sins all around you.
ОтветитьThanx, this was very usefull. Was gonna search this kind of job, now i know what it is👌🏻
ОтветитьUI UX design job replace in the AI 😑😑
ОтветитьThank you for the video. It was so informative even for a person in the industry like me. But I didn't know why shouldn't assume we're the user. If not how can I be able to empathize with them?
Ответитьplease mention your instagram and behance profile link
ОтветитьI just ran away from data analysis to ux and ui and here am I being told that I’m supposed to learn data analysis.
ОтветитьI found this is channel from where I learn a lot...

ОтветитьNow I'm at the stage line you previously. No education related, no experience and mid year to career. I wonder can I do it and does this suits me.
ОтветитьDoes photoshop is must have if I want to be web designer or ux/ui designer?
