Killing Giants made top 25 so it's automatically an amazing list (Jokes aside, I agree with almost everything here. This list has so many of my favorites too. For some reason I didn't expect Empires to be at the top, but I can't say I disagree. It's a beautiful song and one of my favorites of 2020 for sure).

Great list! I still have to go through a lot of Monstercat's past discog to really know which would be my favorite songs on the label, but I can already agree with a lot of the songs you've put there.

btw, when you said you were just getting the info from the Mcat website, keep in mind that for every song they have a "released as" genre and a "community" genre. the "released as" is what Monstercat themselves labelled the song as (that's why you have a lot of Electronic) while the "community" genre is what the editors label the song as. So for Nigel Good's Don't Want To Go, it was "released" as House but its "community" genre is Nu Disco (which does make a lot more sense).

btw² don't know if you saw it, but DESERT STAR just announced on his Instagram that he'll be releasing new music soon, and in one of the replies he hinted at being a Monstercat release. better get ready!

I liked most of the songs here. Personally, I don't like making top 150 song lists since they're easily interchangeable but it's still nice to learn about someone else's favourite songs on the label.

As someone who came to know about Monstercat pretty late as well (in 2018, my brother introduced me), I can definitely see the resemblance in tastes. Songs from 18-19 will always good a special place in my heart because of all the nostalgia I associate with those songs. Nice top 150 list!

2. Glacier - enough: an emotional masterpiece that combines glaciers amazing vocals with some bangin production by ice man himself
1. Lyra: must i say more? Ok fine an calming piano intro into a buildup that hits you like a truck, 2 amazing drop with enough variation and the switch from trap to fb, and the drop. Yeah.

Are we still young gives me vietnam flashbacks to my 12 year old self on music maker jam. If not for that it'd probably be a top 50 song for me but because of those vietnam flashbacks I can't make it higher than 600 overall
