Animations per body part blows my mind, that is basically imfinite possibilites :) that combined with potentially every character having a predetermined "style" of movement? Sounds really cool and ambitious
Ответитьidk what she's yapping about but she cute
Ответитьgood topic but please less humor you are not funny
Ответитьwait, but how about your elbow? This clearly debunks math.
ОтветитьFantastic video! Described in such a way a big dumb dipshit can understand(so my step brother could follow along) but with enough technical information I can feel superior when I'm explaining inverse kinematics to my multitude of friends!(His name is Marc...and he already knew) Plus cute, plus quirk, plus funny, plus I have those exact fucking glasses! Milo square frosted clear. I subbed off the strength of that alone! Now I binge your videos for an hour and create ANOTHER parasocial relationship that ends up being totally fulfilling for both of us! Huzzah!
ОтветитьI cant wait to play GTA VI in vr
Ответитьthis entire video can be summarized by the phrase "transitional animations". and you will have learned just as much useful information
ОтветитьThis is fascinating, well explained, well presented and edited with humour. Instantly subscribed.
ОтветитьYea, I don't see how that system can be patented. It's a pretty generic combination of normal building blocks for game development. If they have tech that pulls it off that's great for them, but shouldn't stop other people attempting the same with their own tech.
Ответитьthis is such a good video, informative and entertaining, nice
ОтветитьWait rockstar can just copyright the fact that you could layer animations? So many games use this anyway lol
ОтветитьWhen will Rockstar ever have the technology to have women in bikinis with pubic hair sprawling out of them. Armpit hair would be cutting edge as well...
ОтветитьSo She's working with Rockstar tgether. Hehe
ОтветитьI like how she say balls
ОтветитьOne problem, pretty sure a lot of the footage from the trailer are either an opening sequence like you got in GTA 5 or Scripted cut scenes. That scene where Lucia is hanging out the top of a convertible and being recorded.... no shot I believe that is just random natural gameplay.
Ответитьi understand why they removed the euphoria ragdolls, i was playing gta 4 with a 6 star wanted level in a subway station and a bunch of police officers came tumbling down at 20fps on my Xbox series X. if i was on the 360 it probably would've crashed my game
ОтветитьUE5 has already a kind of better animation system, however it will be interesting to see this.
ОтветитьBut... a lot of games have already animated their characters using these methods...
ОтветитьFirst time here. You're funny
Ответитьtheir gyat bounces
ОтветитьThis was very informative. That being said, I have the strangest feeling that this is the foundation of an actual Matrix.
ОтветитьI'm looking forward to a (PC) trainer that lets people change animations inheritance on the fly for some genuinely cursed animations, like "cowboy, inherited from dog" or "homeless man, inherited from helicopter" so that we can watch Rockstar weep as an NPC walks on all fours or a person sitting on the ground rotates their arm at 400 RPM.
ОтветитьI fully intend to infringe on every software patent that has ever been written or ever will be written, especially those pertaining to games.
ОтветитьI didn't learn anything about animations but I got an erection.
Ответитьjynx maze, i love her
Ответитьgreat vid, just yesterday i was talking with my gf about this lmao she must be tired of me saying how gta 6 is going to change the game industry again
ОтветитьWhat if your a coding wizard and you are making your own indie video game as a solo dev and you make this system without realizing its patented. Patents seem so dumb to me. At least with making games. Apex legends popularised pinging. They couldve patented it. But they didnt and now tones of games use it.
ОтветитьGod, I hate patents
It literally goes against the fundamental concepts of human societies
you aren't funny
Ответитьi only watch bc she is kinda hot
ОтветитьIm more impressed that the beggar has a chameleon and literally nobody noticed that. Animals in games kinda just dont work so far.
ОтветитьPatent? Laughable! Lots of prior art exists for this exact kind of system, both in academic AI papers and other game engines, including EA's Battlefield and FIFA games which use dynamic animations too.
ОтветитьWow
Ответитьooo
ОтветитьI creamed
ОтветитьGaming
ОтветитьMost modern AAA games use a 2-part RIG, top and bottom, each can have their independent animation or combined. Just to educate people a bit about the first part of the video.
Ответитьits a trailer tho, there is no evidence the concept will portray anything similar to the trailer. Most studios underdeliver with the games compared to the trailer, im too skeptic to believe this is going to work
ОтветитьIt's really sad that they really nerfed down Euphoria in GTA5 only so they could fit a big mostly empty map on a last gen consoles.
Ответитьdid not expect so much out of this video Im definitely subscribing :)
Ответитьsomething does appear out of place in the scene with Lucia out of the top of the car... Its her arms moving together like its some doll with the same axis for both arms
ОтветитьShe knows what were thinkin about 😎
ОтветитьFuck Take Two. They are patenting all of this. Fuck patents in general in gaming. Gatekeeping progress.
Ответитьdeep dive on that trailer
Ответитьwhy she kinda cute fr?
Ответитьdamn that some crazy stuff
ОтветитьIt is a goddamn shame Rockstar patented that. This would have been a fantastic thing to sell to the industry
