Wearing Whitin sock shoes as I watch this and the toe box causes me no issues whatsoever. Maybe they changed the design.

I have an older fivefingers model (7+ years?), same up top just a more detailed grip / traction on the soles. I really love doing anything in them, they've been used for running, calisthenics and basketball. It's been my second time now that's I've had to have their soles re-glued cause in certain angles I put a lot of stress on the sole vs the material up top. So I'd say they're super durable but design wise can be slightly improved to divide stress better at extreme bends.

Unfortunately, due to my medical condition, feeling every stone or whether or not the coin is heads or tails does not work for me (it is a real pain). But I am a true believer in wide toe (shape) box and zero drop. So for those of you who cannot wear feel everything "barefoot" shoes, Lems are fantastic. As he says, they are padded but most are zero drop and so wonderfully wide (my toes are free). Great comparison video!!! Thank you!!!!

Are there any sturdy boots with a natural toe box that can be used for motorcycling? It doesn't (and probably shouldn't) have to have a thick sole or even be zero drop, but the toe boxes on "regular" moto boots are annoying.

My dad wont let me wear any barefoot shoes because he says its bad for me 💀

Thanks for this awesome review~~ vibram five finger shoes saved my feet. I couldn't walk anymore. I've had multiple spine surgeries. My brain literally had to reconnect with my feet. I put my first pair on and I literally slept with them on for a week...they changed my life! It took several months to fully understand the shoes and my feet. a lifetime of regular shoes literally ruined my body because of the way my feet are made.

It's sad that corporations care more about $$ than the people who buy their shoes, you put out shoes healthier for your feet, with less material and charge over $100 for them.

Would like a review off:
HOBIBEAR Unisex Wide Barefoot Shoes. The company sell different types of footware and cloths recomends for those who dont want too strong a ground feel. So I've order a pair as I have multiple lumbar disc degeneration. I found food intolerances which was leading to immune system break down and osteo arthrities, but this is my the hang up as I always tested negative to all most every allergys test.
Knickel, Penicillan . But grains seem to have had a massive impact on my ability to recover and stress my innate immune system.
Love this channel only just found it but for me personally my life style choices around food and other habits(addictions ) has had far more influeance on my ability to recover . I am 61 awaiting heart surgery(congenital bicuspal mitral valve and some holes in my heart(I was born with this condition and thanks to covid causing inflamation of the pericardinum had a cardio echo gram).
I had a complete turn around to my health thought life style food choices and before anybody mention blood work! it did not show anything but elevated inflamation markers which are all with in normal range today ( there normal)CUT THE GRAINS OUT and experiment with foods as too what make you ill.
Not against allergy testing but it one little tool that dosent always produce any results.
My suggestion to those that get ill regularly is cut out all grains for a month,don't eat bread, pizza, pasta, flower based products, man made dressing avoid malt vinegar or any substance which is basicly mix together by a machine . make it your self.
When it come to fruit a little each day, I recomend frozen organic berrys (the price helps with portion control he he). I found personally I'm ok with rice but potatoes are best( what! starch, root vegatable) the denser the better as in reds as there high in fiber dont listen to those who go keto as inttimment fasting with an occasional one or two day fast Solves this problem. you need not so much carbs and mainly eat all the other stuff that mother nature produces (flower is man made crap,). PS flower comes with lots of sugar and really cheap bad for you seed oils which cause more inflamation.
I know I am addicted to crap so I haft to occasinally have a gluttionus pigg out of free from and kellys ice cream. The problem is i cant afford to do it too regular like every few hours(he he).

When you measure, you measure at the widest spot. But that is not where the toes are widest. The toes are widest at the end of the feet. The toe box should be widest at the very top of the shoe.

As I watch this video, I see a bunch of shoes that could never work for my feet because the toe boxes are way too thin. I have a pair of shoes made with a wider shoe box, and even they are cramping my toes. I am a woman with wider-than-average feet, and I am wondering, Where are the shoes that have enough room for my feet and toes?

Merrells ? REI has those - but not in the store.(?) They sell Merrells and Zero by online order.
I bought those because i can return them in the store. I got the size the store said I wore, 9. And a 9.5. And a 10. Still cramped. I got a pair of Xero from them, 9.5 cramped.
I have been wearing Tom's and Converse. Love the toe-room in the converse. They claim to be a size 8 (mens 10) but they are enormous in the toebox. The proble is that all that I have look tacky and if I am going to buy a new pair, I would like to go with a more flexible shoe. The 1/4 heel doesn't bother me.
I am hesitant to buy and return online.
In the video, you only cover the men's shoes and not the women's so I dont know if anything you say applies there. You dont even discuss the difference between a male and female shoe. This is a terrible situation of ignorance. The companies participate in generalized adcopy..

Thank you for doing this. I was excited to see the Whitin's, I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes because my big toes naturally curve up. I will definitely have to try some of their shoes. A few years ago I found the brand Cushe, sadly this was as they were going out of business.

available in my size. Excellent customer service. I went with the Vigor ll. Not sure what the 1st pair are called, but instead foot pain relief. 😊

I find them all way to expensive.... Little materials yet more expensive than Nike and Adidas
