I have a macbook pro 13 and i followed your steps, however when i tried to install macos ventura it took two days to install but failed.

Mine just says shut down or restart

It doesn't let me reinstall mac osmonterey it says there was a problem with installation after taking 1hr

I tried to download big sur but than that failed and ended up having to do something with the disk utility and that failed and now my mac is back in some old version. All the icons for apps are outdated and so is everything. please help
