I was lucky enough to get included in a random team tournament hosted by fineokay and pandacat a couple years ago. Somehow I got put on a team with stallone and he absolutely carried to the finals (we got second sadly) while I fed my brains out in solo. He’s a goat for sure

I dont think the view point youre suggest is all that correct. yes its understandable that players should def be punished but if youre stuck in a role youre not that good at then youll just be called a thrower or other shit.

I'm surprised nobody's talking about that Danza. Had a full 2-3 levels on hachi after doing nothing but split pushing and still died, and it seemed like he was just feeding that hachi into orbit. Not to mention getting mad at the Nox for not being around when they had 2 phoenixes down and he wasn't bothering to help push those back, and dies immediately after the fire giant goes down (without helping)

I have question though. Are starter items essential? I feel like you could get more overall power by starting with an item that isn't a starter, but at the same time, it seems to vary.

If you play support and get the highest damage, you didn't do your job. That made me feel better about how I play baron Samedi. Im newer to the game, I've played a mobile game of this style though. So im learning pretty quick. But i was playing baron as damage at first, then I recently started to switch it up and he feels better. He was already really fun. But, add some supportive items and he feels much better.

I stopped playing ranked and conquest with him because he threw in a ranked joust.

Wouldn’t it just make sense for them to make a rank system where u match up with other people who wants a different role, so there is no overlap and no one is forced into a role.

Please do a series on how to build. I swear my brain just doesn't work in a way that gets all of the nuances by simply reading.
I have been ranked play eligible for years. But i dont play it because i know i wont get anywhere just copying builds. Because ive been told you need to build in game and in accordance to the enemy.
This reminds me of play calling in madden which im excellent at. But thats because i have a football background. Lifetime of basic football knowledge.
Smite is the only game of its type ive ever played. And is its own thing in general. I simply need to understand the items at a basic level if they can be.

Kinda late but f it. I usually play supp anubis or Guan yu and just build damage. Me and my carry end up getting tower by 3 mins, and sometimes one of them leaves, late game we win boom boom. Only 12 minutes

That Cathywoods guy did that in one of my games once got one of the buffs died and said he was carrying even though he were 500 gold behind from it...

I despise people like that Baka. I'm not even a good player but I've been carry and had my support go play a totally different role and fuck me over. Part of the reason I play mostly assault

Personally im fine with dual junglers. I also accept all trades and consequently usually end up playing support so the supp doesnt dodge, but meh. Especially in lower ranks, pure damage teams work way more than it should. Especially if the gods have solid cc. Meh.

As an edit, i usually play horus supp, or a guardian. Lol. Im fine with damage supports though when i end up mid or carry or whatever. 👍

When I'm playing by myself I never really voice my stress, but when I'm playing with people or communicating with someone while playing or if even somebody is in the room while I'm playing it increases my anxiety to voice my stress.

Most people in Smite play ranked? I have only played a handful of ranked games because you can't play with friends and the search time for games with the ban phase included is/was 10 minutes plus.

I legit don't get the "Lets ban everyone for not playing the role, its a big problem with Smite" how about you don't FORCE people to play roles they don't want? It's a video game not a job, can't speak for everyone, but I do think that longer queues where you get what you pick sound better than banning everyone for having fun with a "boring" role.

Ok i understand the 'dont troll as a role' bit and do think it needs to be punished, but i also think hirez needs to add a better matchmaking system to not get roles u dont play, youve said it yourself before, players play one role really good and thats it. Even the spl players dont swap roles between games. I'll say it like that because I've also had games where literally my 5th role (literally least fav) is given to me 5 games in a row, meanwhile im seeing the same 2-4 players that have played a role bad cause a L get their desired role. I'd rather wait an entire 2 queues to get a desired role over forced into a game.
