I cant believe the way ATC people speak to the Pilots when the lives of hundreds of passengers are in their hands. So many egos at play here especially the ATC. Only in America you would get such display of "power grabbing". Some thing should be done before a disaster happens.

it’s so crazy how exactly this mirrors VATSIM conversations in flight sim. You ATC guys 100% get off work and hop on there to direct traffic in game as well I know it lol

I think AAL2601 is a victim of anal FAA people doing OTS evals or tape talks and the ATC peeps had to "Toe the line" .

Inaudible in closed captions occasionally. It's all inaudible to me.

What I'm learning is that herding pilots is like herding cats

I have no clue what they are saying but I am always amused. I could never work air traffic control, I would either lose it and start screaming obscenities or smugly sit in silence while waiting for a crash. I applaud the patience of those who do this job.

Are pilots also trained to deal with snarkly, often sarcastic people who are support to direct them to safety while carrying souls in their aircraft? Really? Can't these tower people say why they want and need to say in objective and professional way?

These people in the tower and the pilots are absolutely AMAZING! The brilliance it would take to keep that pace of conversation and observation is exhausting and commanding. I am impressed!!

ATC: *Wastes 10 more seconds ranting on freq about tying up freq*.

Boy, is this one rude set of Controllers. There always seems to be issues between Pilots and Controllers. My Dad was a Marine Pilot and my Brother a Controller. Pilots are being very patient.
