Hmm looks to be good value for money, ok you may have as you said sort out wiring a bit depending on where your going to install the Camera, as usual a good demo, nice video

when it comes to security, wifi is NOT the way to go. too many issues with privacy, reliability, security...
besides, unleess you power the thing with batteries (another BAAAAD idea!) you need a cable anyway. so why go wifi? it makes no sense.

There's a product called CoaxSeal that would solve your water in your connectors issue. A black putty that waterproofs antenna cable connections. Should be great for your application.

Should have used a junction box mounted next to the camera on the outside of the house.
Available at screwfix for a few pound, need glands to run the cable through to keep watertight.

How do you ground a outdoor cctv camera?
Please show pictures, I've heard of it but never seen someone ground a outdoor security camera. I'm starting to think it is not worth it.
